how Many pages needed to rank a website

I am ranking single page (6000 article one page ) It's a amazon site. Wanted to to say it doesn't really matter how much you post ( post count matters if you are into splogging etc) But in genaral all you need is worth content where you arrange for readers. 70% of my site no more than 5 pages including afiiliate declare page :/

It doesn't mater how many pages you have. Its about how your content is informative and unique and how much backlinks you have to get better rank in Google.

I also don't think it's the number of pages that matters, but the content.

What do you mean by rank a website? Really , I mean do you want to rank your domain/brand name? Do you want to rank a keyword(s)? What kind of keyword(is) it is (are)?
I had a client who wanted to rank for keyword "financial planning" which is near impossible.

Small articles are classed as thin content.

You need long articles with images and video to really impress google.

But back to ranking, you need to use an indexing service these days.

Number of pages is not a big factor. I've ranked a website and got it to first page with just 2 pages.

That so interesting did you just use big web 2.0 to promote the kw with there link?

Pages don’t matter content and backlinks does, but thin websites don’t last long, try to build a good website and rankings will automatically take care of itself

What since all the updates going on?
Not right now, mate. Did it in 2017. But that doesn't mean it can't be done again. It all comes down to your content and keywords. I ranked a fetish adult website (20 pages) recently with a considerable search volume but low competition. It's sitting on the first page for my primary keyword.

No, I told him you can rank for "financial planning in my little town x , state y for only z dollars"
but he insisted he wants "financial planning".

Hey Dude,

I did a lot of experimentation with niche sites and these were my controls:

  • A site with 100 posts with 500 words each, 1 image per post, optimized tags, and meta description
  • A site with 10 posts 5000 words each, 10 images per post, optimized tags, and meta description.
  • A site with 50 posts 1000 words each, 1 image per post, optimized tags, and meta description.
  • A site with 20 posts 2500 words each, 3 images per post, optimized tags, and meta description.
No backlinks were used, no social signals were used, no unique images were used. Images were obtained using scrapebox.

Two sites ranked the fastest and were more resilient to algorithm movements and competition over 12 months: 10 posts @ 5000 words and 20 posts @ 2500 words.

The site with 20 posts @ 2500 earned the most from amazon.

This was not because medium form content performs better than long-form content - this was because I had more posts covering more of the niche. If I had 20 posts @ 5000 words I would have out earned the site with 20 posts @ 2500 words easily.

Google prefers long-form content which includes:

  • Gif's
  • Videos
  • Images
  • Interlinks to other pages and posts
  • Embed social posts
  • Links to other websites within the same niche
  • Links to education website, Journal Studies, and government websites
  • Obama tweets for some reason? (not meming here, try incorporating a few Obama tweets into your affiliate posts).
  • LSI - Synonym variations of your main keywords; Google usually knows what your target keyword is by checking the density of your first 100 words and comparing that with the words in your post title.

Pages don't matter at all. You need quality content and quality links

my page has around 1600 word content with 2 infographics. and website is under construction. does my page will rank. presently i have 8 pages related to website ->(about us, and all) and i have launch 3 pages in which i want to rank. presently 11 pages are live. so does this amount of pages will help me to rank?

Yes, a site with 20 articles of at least 500 words of relevant content will rank. Where will it rank? Well that's the fuck knows bit.

Pages not really matters it does matter that site should have relevant 100% quality articles, actually more pages is equal to more keywords better do a research before adding pages.
