11.5 k or 500 word count is no matter. Content quality is matter. But in above case if 500 word content is quality google will scroll that one first even though 1500 word content also quality.

Probably by going for 1500 words in each article, you will do better. Checking the links manually is a more reliable way to know but I think the domain is weak for what you want.

You don't even need quality content.

Pinterest ranks for everything with content-locked scraped images.

DA and TF doesn't matter much. Create quality content and improve EAT.
Write long form content that naturally targets more niche relevant keywords and LSI keywords so you have more opportunity to rank.

With 1500 word article you will rank for more keywords and hence get more traffic (over time)

500 words on authority domain will do a lot better.

I have written over 1.5k articles and I still see Pakistani blogs with poorly written articles and high DA ranking more than my site with zero DA and TF

For writing that little content, you will need stronger link juice. That is usually depicted in TF, DA, and DR.

GOOD CONTENT alone IS enough to rank if....

- Niche has decent to low competition levels
- you're willing to wait 8 to 12 months
- the content is properly formatted and is TIGHT when it comes to on page SEO
- there is enough content (not just 10 to 20 posts buts over 110 posts)

The DA 20 domain will rank first usually if it has good aged links (not spam comments).

If the DA is manipulated with shit links, then I reckon that the lengthy article will outrank it, if it's written truly well.

I have seen Forbes, Wikipedia, researchgate and so on rank higher for little content while small websites with more detailed content on the same keywords ranking on page 2-3.i guess inbound is just a stronger force

Those who tell you that you can rank without backlinks are either fooling you or are targeting very low competition keywords. Obviously the second scenario has a better chance of ranking.
