Overnight Losses (Read: Profits) with Microsoft Ads + CPA

Hey there!
I'll come straight to the point. I have been thinking about using Microsoft Ads with CPA offers for a while. You might have seen me asking around on different journey threads here on BHW. Well, I read a lot and tried to learn as much as I could about Tracking, Microsoft Ads, and the PPC model in general in the last 2 days (I didn't know anything about PPC, I still don't know much tbh).

So I set everything up yesterday and my first campaign went live today.
These are the results so far





These are the results over 11 hours since the campaign went live. At first, it might not seem like much. This is with no split testing or optimization whatsoever. Though I have seen the search query that is bringing in all (both lol) the conversions. I am tempted to pause all other keywords and let the single one run but I know the data being collected through testing is gold. Secondly, I didn't spend the ad costs out of my pocket, it's all covered by a bing coupon.

I'm in love with how fast once can see the results with Paid Traffic. It is very satiating for someone who is as impatient as me!

I am in a similar place but with Facebook ads. the idea is really attractive. but FB ads is really confusing and overwhelming to set up, and I can't find an up to date guide. all courses I find are made in 2017 or so. but yeah, PPC working is the dream. what did you use to validate the coupon? paypal? VCC?

I lost a lot of money with Instagram recently. So this time I tried to lose money slowly.

I am in a similar place but with Facebook ads. the idea is really attractive. but FB ads is really confusing and overwhelming to set up, and I can't find an up to date guide. all courses I find are made in 2017 or so. but yeah, PPC working is the dream. what did you use to validate the coupon? paypal? I was lazy about keyword research. The only experience I have is of using Google Keywords Tool (back when it showed the exact search volume) and YouTube Keywords Tool (back when it existed- good times). As you can see, It's all obsolete knowledge. The good thing with Facebook is there are no keywords involved.

I had my share of hurdles with bing ads as well, their interface is confusing. I lost my almost-completed campaign due to it not being saved. The Manual Bidding is depreciated etc. but If you want to see profits at the end of the day, I guess you have to push through it all.

For the coupon, i simply added my own debit card. I have no issues with it being on file as long as i try and stay within the 100$ of the coupon.


Just as I was typing this reply,I refreshed my tracker. I was expecting nothing but at least 5 dollars worth of new losses but to my surprise:

Thanks man. Consider losses as experience bought through money. Whenever you're starting to invest, consider it as something you bought, without expecting it to earn you anything. Start small and scale once you start seeing positive returns

Wow, that's really nice. Those are some nice results considering you did not do any optimization yet. I tried to use coupons on Bing, and both times my account got suspended without even getting to the campaign creation part. Idk how to get around this; if I could, I would also post a brief case study.

Yes bing suspends a lot! They suspended my first 3 accounts within seconds.
What i can suggest is:

Don't use VPN or Tempmails, create a brand new hotmail account preferably.
Also, at least use a real address (if not your own) while signing up for Microsoft ads and adding payment info.
Lastly, don't use fake credit card info.

These are not in line with the black hat methods that are generally discussed but i guess it's only fair. They're already offering 100 USD to test out traffic, what more could one ask for

Update: So i got greedy and paused all except the one keyword that was bringing in all the conversions. According to Microsoft ads, I got 4 clicks and one of them converted. Sadly,BeMob showed completely different statistics in the morning. It showed I got more than 100 "visits" from bing out of which 1 converted.

I'm not sure what could've caused BeMob to inflate the visits. Maybe I got click bombed?

Promoted only one offer. It was a sweepstake. I promoted it only in one country. I deposited some bucks from my credit card and 2 days later account got suspended...
