Title says it all. Finally creating an account and getting serious about IM and SEO now that I'm a budding web developer. I think the three combined will be very beneficial. I look forward to digitally meeting all most of you I'm sure :)

Having those three skills will indeed be very beneficial to your future. Welcome to bhw mate

Hi welcome to the forums!

I have been lurking for quite a while and just signed up last month. Starting my first sites as we speak.

What types of projects are you planning on pursuing (like affiliate marketing or what?)

Good luck!

First off, congrats on making that progress, that's awesome! What types of sites are you making?

But to answer your question, I'm not sure. I'm working on a political information web/native application, but as far as IM/SEO I'm honestly open to anything and mostly trying to get the creative juices (and income) flowing.

My biggest issue is that I am creative as far as logic and coding; I'm not a big picture guy though, I have trouble coming up with ideas. But I've learned more difficult skills, so I'll figure that out too.

I am pursuing affiliate marketing.

The idea is half the battle, don't sweat it... Try not to do what everyone else is doing naturally.

I remember reading this article a few years back about this guy who saw all his friends going into the "popular" fields and he decided to start a business that no one wanted to get into - emptying septic tanks (lol.) He started his own business and guess what... he's rich as fuck now.

I appreciate the advice!

And yeah, that sounds familiar. I've got a friend in upstate NY that picks up dog poo. She's doing pretty well with it too. lol
