I have a 24 hour streaming on YouTube with data in images. The streaming runs in OBS for Windows on a VPS.

There are 5 scenes that appear in an order marked in the Advanced Scene Switcher plugin.

Scenes 1 to 4 show still images with static information, while Scene 5 shows a random image read from a folder with 20 files. I use the OBS Image Gallery to do it.

When the streaming goes from scene 4 to 5, the random image is shown, but it does not change every time it goes from 4 to 5, but only changes with the duration time that I assign it. For example, if scenes 1 to 4 last 10 seconds each and 5 another 10 seconds, then I give the image duration 50 seconds (500 milliseconds). For 40 seconds the image is hidden, and it is only shown during the 10 seconds of scene 5. However, and even if you put the exact duration of each scene as shown in the Advanced Scene Switcher, the image displayed in scene 5 it goes into sync and when running shows first one image and then another. Any ideas how I could solve this?

Thanks a lot.

I meant "out of sync". Thanks.

try to see if you have the option to refresh when scene becomes active

just a question, the host is not hourly billed like AWS?
12 usd per month
With BHW discount code: 10 usd.
Search for it on the marketplace.

This is my 2nd 24/7 streaming running over Hyonix VPS. No major issues or problems.

2 core and 4 gb Ram?
I tried to run a stream on Vultr with the same parameters and it was almost a slideshow. Do you have videos or images in your stream?

You need atleast 8 gigs or if you want a guarantee that all this would work, 16 gb ram is the best! Its not that expensive on vultr. Try ohbubble because they specialize in this field.

Yep. Still images, simple transitions, sound fx, music. 15 fps steady.
