These kind of links stopped being effective years ago. Google caught onto user generated profile links a long time ago. If you do use these links for diversity, never use your keywords as anchor text.

yes they are nofollow except pbase and Codeproject, but in Codeproject you must do participants to get your backlink to show up on the profile page

I guess people should avoid building these profiles just to get backlinks from it. If they want these links, they should also make a proper profile with all the information and also make some contribution to those websites as well to give everyone an expression that you are real user who want to contribute something to the website and not on that particular website just to get a backlink.

I still use profile links and see ranking improvements when I target low competition keywords.
The onpage has to be good and optimised.
I use only do follow and highish DA profile links, so for me they still work.

Most generic profile type links should be avoided. Many probably won't do any harm, but don't expect to see any real ranking or traffic benefits. And sometimes well-optimized content for low comp. keywords can rank without any links at all.
The only exceptions are if you already have good base of high quality links, and want to diversify your link profile or for branding purposes.

You are doing two of the most important things right. One is on page and other is to get backlinks from ******** high authority domains. No wonder, you are seeing the improvements.

well. I tried to use 5-10 profile links from website like begance, github ect but i didn't see any changed in positions. So, probably, it didn't work really/

5 or 10 won't do much to anything, you need to use a lot more.

I would suggest to make some contribution to those sites as well. Don't just make a profile and leave it.

Okaaay. I will try to do use more links. But not sure about contribution since i don't have so much time for this but i trying to add relevant text to the my profiles everytime if i can.
