Has Twitter changed anything regarding the follow notifications ?

Hey guys,

I have been using Jarvee for quite some time to grow an account. Since October I would say, the followback ratio is very low. A friend of mine has the same problem. It seems that the problem is not the source / people I follow but the fact that the user I follow with the tool do not always receive a notification. Which breaks the purpose of the mass following to get follow backs.

Anyone seen something similar happen to them ? I am testing things out at the moment but it feels like there is some kind of pacing in place. Meaning that I can follow 300 accounts a day but only a certain amount receives the notifications.

I'm not sure, whether they changed anything recently or not, but the described notification ghosting is an old issue, probably it's around for 4-5 years now. It can be caused by various things, probably the most common is a too aggressive follow tactic.

Do you know if its possible to get back into the notifications ? Should I operate a stop and go ? Would it work if I just reduce the pace ?

You can try. Pause all activity for two days, then start following again slowly and see, if the notifications are getting delivered or not. If it works, you need to figure out a safe, slower pace.
