Hey everyone! I invest on the stock market for Long Term profits, and have recently been hearing that Ethreum is in a very good state and should pop soon. Placed $50 on it for fun a while ago and it's already at $60 now. Is it worth investing more?

Actually you can buy nearly everything, Real Estate, Crypto, Stocks...everything is growing. But watch out, don't ne the last to jump of the train. Until then, make profits as much you can.

This is the time to invest if you have money to lose, Etherum 2.0 coming out soon.

Do you really invest your money off of what you heard...

Do your technical analysis, please.

I thought this was a good thing? That's basically the reason why I was thinking of ETH.

nobody knows and no one will ever know,
you can predict as everyone's doing :)

It depends what are your expectations. Usually it works better if you only invest in projects you know more about and have set your targets before spending money. In the long-run I'd say ETH can be a good investment, but that's just speculating

ETH's one of the strongest investments in the crypto market, both long term and short term. It's got some serious price growth to do in the coming 12 months. We'll be looking back at when it was $600 and thinking it was cheap as shit.

I have about 10% of my saving in BTC + ETH, the rest in S&P 500, Nasdaq, AMZN, etc.

I would suggest you to diversify in investing, don't go all in, that would be a gambling mindset.

True. But this is a more accurate analogy.

Instead of being gambling, like you walk into a casino and sit down at a backjack table with $1000, and where the house has a slight edge over you, therefore over a long enough amount of time of playing you're assured of losing, with the odds of winning being roughly 50/50 in the shot term, this is more what investing in crypto is like right now...

You walk into a casino and sit down at the blackjack table. Once every 4 years there is a period of about 6 - 12 months where when you play blackjack, as long as you keep playing for the whole 6 - 12 months, you're almost guaranteed to win, and not just win, but win 5 - 20 times your investment on average.

Now while you don't know that this golden period of winning is definitely going to happen this time around, it has done every 4 years prior like clockwork, and not only that, the reason for this winning period isn't just a random thing - it's the result of a mechanism of how the casino fundamentally operates.

Sure, you're sitting down to a blackjack table in a casino still, but right now you're sitting down to a table where for once you actually have a significant edge over the house.

Cling on to your fiat currency instead of heavily investing into crypto over the coming 12 months at your peril. Only one of them is under tremendous structural strain globally in 2020/2021 and it's not the one that has a finite supply that has the amount given out to users cut in half every 4 years, it's the one that just got mass produced on an unfathomable level and thrown into the general population indiscriminately.

Don't get stuck in the status quo mindset.. the USD, and by proxy the mainstream global financial market, is in serous fucking trouble.

I am not arguing whether Crypto will take over the world or not, that is not the point.

What i am saying is simply when it comes to risky asset, invest only with money you can lose.

Crypto and Stock are absolutely better investment than Real estate. To me real estate cannot liquidate easily when needed whereas crypto and stock and liquidate instantly..

Can eth reach $800 usd? Already buy $180 usd in eth, See eth 2.0 will come

This is an interesting topic to discuss man, and I'm not arguing with you at all, just probing the concept you brought up a bit.

It doesn't have anything to do with taking over the world or not, my last comment addresses the specific point that you made which is that going all into crypto is a gambling mindset.

My only point re: that is that at this specific point in time, precisely the opposite is true. Instead of investing in crypto right now being a flip of a coin like it often is (for many people), right now there is a significantly higher chance that an investment will yield profit in the coming 12 months than a loss will be generated.

Crypto can't really be called a risky asset at this point imo. Risky would imply significant uncertainty of outcome. Taking the historic movements of crypto pre-bull runs and post-halvings into account, if anything this is a low risk investment right now.

I'm going to start getting rid of some ETH i'm worry there might be a problem durring the transition but if it works i'll jump on some eth2.0
i just want to make sure it works

Sure keep your money in fiat. But it will lose half it's value every 10 years from inflation. So either way the money idling will lose . So get some cryp!

Yeah but on real estates upside, it is stable.
