Hi,

Does anyone have recommendations for a good host option to stand up a few blogs on? The plan is for these sites to eventually build some affiliate links into the content of the blogs.

I am thinking managed linux VPS with a dedicated IP (as an aside is it ok to have multiple sites on that same dedicated IP or is that an issue / do I need to request 1 ip per blog that I stand up?)

I saw the hostwinds promotion offered to BHW members but I have never heard of the company and am a little leery that they will jack up the price massively after the initial period.

Also to be clear, nothing sketchy and no adult content so a "stealthy" / offshore host is not important.

I appreciate any advice/guidance! Thanks for reading.

I have used Zuver.net.au with Promocode ZUVER90. Unsure if it still works, but was extremely cheap for a 3 Year package. Their hosting was good quality with C-Panel and relatively good support.

Shockhosting.net is my choice. Dedicated ip address with every account. Top class support. Absolutely ethical in pricing and terms. You pay for what you sign up until you cancel their plan. Monthly payment options also available. Modestly priced. Great value for money IMHO. I found them to be the best overall. Got tired of shitty big names in hosting business who entice you to sign up and literally rob you when you want to renew / extend the hosting agreement.

I checked them out and they do look like the best option for me. Thank you!! Great price, dedicated IP, they don't break it off in your ass when you renew (on the hosting OR the domain if you get that from them which, it looks like they only charge 9.99/yr more than fair to me vs getting one for a few bucks but then getting raped every year after that.) Oh and I asked them about whois privacy, they offer this for only 1.99/yr, that's a good deal too.

I wonder if you have any target for different C-class IPs for all those blogs? In case you need to have different C-class IPs (for SEO purpose) you'd better check for SEO hosting if you want to have all of them to be hosted in one account.

I think DreamHost hosting are great as well. Personally using them for a long time now with multiple domains. They totally ok and non-EIG with fast support and great uptimes

A2, hostgator, guru.co.uk namecheap to name a few I use.
No issues with any, and good support

Get free AWS, GCP, Azure and Digital Ocean credits.

Host your sites there to see what swims and what drowns.

Buy shared hosting or cheap VPS like OVH or Hetzner for those sites that are showing promise.

I second guru.co.uk they are very good - good backup systems in place, very fast and friendly support and also their servers are fast.

If you need offshore one you can have a look at warez-host.com.
They have several locations as well as platforms.

KVChosting.net and centohost.com plans can be suitable for all your nneeds. Prices are competitive.
