Hey Guys,
I want to compare between importing from China and Wholesalers in Germany.

The prices from China are very good but you have to pay import taxes, you have to find a good supplier and the quality have to be good, you have to check because of CE sign etc.

from wholesaler you can get it for more money but they done most of the customs affairs etc.

What can you say from your experience what is better when you only want to sell the stuff on your internet site and make advertising for it.
Should I import myself or buy from wholesaler?

Or will Dropshipping from China the best option?

regards

It will all depend on your preferences and product you are looking for. In my opinion, generally speaking, china means more chaos and headaches: quality of the products may not be good, prices may or may not be good as well depending on the size of the order, shipping time, communication dilemmas due to english skills -might need an intermediary-, time zones or local festivities.

If you are looking for ordering thousands of electronics and tech gadgets for sure they are the number one but if you are interested in other products there are plenty of options for both wholesalers and factories around Europe. Baltic area, east or south Europe may be cheaper options than Germany and even if some countries in those regions are not part of Europe or the schengen area, shipping and import fees might be more reliable than ordering from China.

Importing from china can be much more profitable if you import from reliable sellers ..
I have my private buying agents in china , sometimes they go in a 12 hours trip just to check the quality of the products and the manufacture I'm dealing with .. sometimes they provide me with prices cheaper than the cheapest on alibaba !
you need to deal with trusted and professionals agents to make $$$$ importing from china
If you got any questions I'll gladly help

Don't buy from wholesalers in Germany. They just import products from China as well and add their margin on top. Sourcing from cheap countries like China is your best option.

What should I care about when I import from China to Germany or when I do Dropshipping. Do you know how it works with Dropshipping in Germany.

Germany has a lot of regulations unfortunately. It's not that easy to start a dropshipping business here. You'll need to check for import-tax (Einfuhrumsatzsteuer), insurance (since you'll be fully liable in case something happens, not the manufacturer!).
It can be done, don't be discouraged. But there is some work involved.

I want to dropshop decorative stuff and carpets etc. I don't think there will be a problem for the customers. But I don't know how to handle with the taxes? I want to start it with the (Kleinunternehmerregelung) so where I have to pay taxes? Only when I sell the stuff here in Germany? What is when I sell to Spain for example? Where I have to pay the taxes and who will handle this for me? Tax consultant?

If you're trying to import medical products I can introduce you to my German client who's an importer of medical products from China and South Korea. He works with super thin margins and his prices are almost the same of what you buy from China. Message me and we can chat about this.

I think you should be asking those questions to a tax consultant. As far as I know you still have to pay taxes in Germany even if you sell products in a different country. In German its called Welteinkommensprinzip.

hye, im looking for a reliable agent to do my shipping from china, can you help in connecting me?

Go for the wholesalers, this way you reduce 50-70% of your headache and you can concentrate more on marketing.
Plus you can personally keep in checking the quality and availability.

Delivery time, that will make all the difference

In every country is the same not just un Germany

connect with an e-commerce warehouse in China. Hold stock there, ask them to ship your goods on EU line. Value your goods under 22 euros shipping invoice won’t be in the package.

Hey @stepdub , I was looking to source some OTC topical tattoo cream products to the US from either Korea or China, and need a reliable manufacturer connection. Is this something your importer client could provide, you think?

Yes. He can do that. Please DM me the details (specs/quantities/pagacking requirements etc).

China has really attractive prices, but you need to take into account all the nuances and carefully select suppliers and goods
