Well, some of the myths seem correct. In my opinion "Content is king" and there is no way than making your content unique and engaging. Duplicate content won't penalise but when it comes to visibility content can help you to enhance the rankings and visibility.
Even if you consider social media, then it again helps you in connect with people and enhance credibility with a brand which inturns helps you to rank higher as most and most people will share your content.
