Youtube - VEVO Launch

What do you guys think of the "Vevo" launch. I dont know much about it, but I know it makes youtube more strict on the uploading music video on Youtube.

I came across a VEVO vid by clicking on a youtube vid on youtube. so far I cant tell the diffence. what is so different about VEVO?

vevo is useless and a bad marketing plan
1. i went on it 2 times, and both had some sort of error
2. half of youtubes population is there for music videos
i know i use it for both music and random stuff but i really dont have much of a reason to stick around if they take out the music.....there's plenty of sites that do the job 10x better

i think they should have left youtube the way it was about a year ago....no bugs and it loaded....but thats just my 2c

vevo is suppose to be a music video site only music videos, like mtv in the begginning. not sure of its point though.

hmm but dont most of the music video sites pull there vids from youtube?
i think threre may well be a huge gap appear and millions of broken links to vids from websites if that happens
