we don't know yet if it's the HDD. Could be (hopefully) the video card... or the RAM, maybe?? I will find out tomorrow...

Via bluetooth probably, if your computer has a bluetooth receiver. But don't you have internet on the smartphone? If it doesn't have internet and you don't have a wifi, you can turn your PC with wired connection into a wifi hotspot: https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-turn-your-computer-into-a-hotspot, so you can connect to the wifi with your phone.

Oh... silly me. Yeah, I do have internet on the phone. I also have bluetooth on the phone but I don't think my computer has bluetooth. But anyway, I'm gonna do it via phone indeed. Just give me 12-20 hours until midnight cause that's when it starts cracking the hardest (when it's idle)

I've only had $40 for the last 3 weeks to buy food and water to survive (internet is paid for by my parents), so trust me that if I had $67 right now I wouldn't spend it on Scrapebox, I'd buy more food

Anyway, next year I will probably look into scrapebox as well, cause I did bookmark a few SEO tools that piqued my interest, and SB is one of them.I just run the test with that thing you gave me, but I don't know how to read / interpret the results cause I haven't got the faintest idea what this tool is lol. Also, during the testing phase (especially during the 2.38, and 0.47 phases) I heard those noises again. VERY intense ones, too. Brrr....

Buy an SDD and make the change, its a lot faster and have very low fail rate.
Also if your computer is old enough, it migh dried the thermal compound that protect the CPU, that is very normal and common, don't worry. Just buy some thermal compount i always use this: https://pcpartpicker. com/product/6RrG3C/arctic-silver-thermal-paste-as535g (i'm not allowed to write links, so there is a space after de . and before the com).

Also, don't forget; if you are broke; python can be your best buddy. Try it may be. It can definitely do scraping and beyond. Multi threading a selenium bot can be a pain, but still..

This is probably a problem with your hard disk. But, you should confirm it to make a decision. HDD works like a CD/DVD player with a disk to store info and a head to read data from it. The head stays slightly above the disk without touching it.
A grinding sound is a sign of the head touching the disk. It'll slowly scratch the disk and destroys some blocks. You should immediately backup your data and replace HDD. If you want to use it, just keep it in mind that someday it could suddenly stop working.

RAM doesn't crack and GPU most likely either, it's the HDD and when it's start making these noises it's very close to dying so I would make some back-ups if I were you.

Computer makes noises usually when the hard drive is about to fail or the inbuilt small cooling fan is about to fail.

I feel sorry for myself, too. And yes, I WILL earn a lot in the near future. I can feel it
I'll change it as soon as I get the chance (which will be January-February 2021 at the earliest). But my concern is that it might break down until then, and that'd be horrifying as I have no device to back up 500 GB worth of stuff on.

Don't know what folding is.... How do I find out if I'm infected by miner? I only have MalwareBytes and I used it yesterday to run a thorough scan on both partitions and it found 2 things that MB thought are adware... or was it malware?? I don't remember... but I removed those anyway, and the computer still makes noises.

I had similar problem with HDD and it made me almost go nuts when nothing worked but in the end reason turned out to be quite simple - HDD was a little bit loose and from time to time it would start making sound similar as to fan always hitting a loose wire or something like that while there was no visible contact/damage. I simply needed to put in holding screws more tightly (I had 2 screws on HDD, added 2 more and screwed them really tight) - sound gone.
Give this a shot if your HDD is properly working and you don't think it's broken or something like that.

I remember 2 year ago, my old comput was in the same situation.
When I scanned the PC with antivirus I had 2 troyan bitcoin miner.
They destroyed my graphic card. It was burning. You should scan your PC, just in case.
Maybe is not probably, but its a option.

interesting... you might actually be right because 2 months I have changed the PSU for the first time in my life, and I've always felt like I didn't do something correctly. Oh God, please let this be the case!
Gonna check for those once I finish scanning the HDD (I am currently running a checkdisk scan cause I promised someone else on this thread that I'll do it).
