Premium Shopify Theme On Multiple Stores?

So, unlike a lot of people here I've actually bought a license for my premium theme I like to use.

My question is: Is it okay to download the theme file and use it on multiple stores of my own? Seems like an absolute waste to keep paying $200 when I have the theme file just sitting there on my desktop.

The money is not a problem for me, I'll pay it if I have to - but is there a risk of shopify shutting my store down just because I haven't paid for that theme on that specific store?

Yes it's a risk, they don't allow you to do it.
Still it's easy, I've done it a couple of times, no trouble yet.

But if you want to be on the legal side, then you need to buy another license.

Great, may I ask you what figures you’ve scaled to in that case?

It’s going to sound silly that I haven’t bought another license yet - and I’d agree, but one of my stores is about to reach $200K with a non-licensed theme.

Although Im aware that is peanuts compared to the big boys, I’ll probsbly will buy it just to be safe lol.

Yeah I've just installed it on test stores, I would not even think twice to buy a license for a store that doing your numbers haha!
