Hi bhw, im new here and started reading about Instagram marketing and some good threads about IM / Youtube.

My skill = im doing sculptures like this:

I can sculpting nearly everything in this quality. Now i saw that this kind of video content on tik tok instagram youtube and so on goes up to 40+ million views for one timelaps video. Know i want to build an audience with my own timelaps videos on Instagram. Do you think this kind of video has the potencial within 1 year to build a stable income of 2000€ to 3000€. I will post 1 to 2 Videos a week because its a lot of hard work to sculpt a celebrity or a action figure. Whats about to sell this or to giveaway for one of the viewer every week.

How do you would like to start? I posted 10 Videos in 5 days to test how instagram works and done the follow unfollow Method but i have the feeling as more i follow unfollow i got less likes or views. I gained 200 follower in 5 days is this normal ? Seems to be a very long ride.

More videos = more chance of exposure and going viral. Don't forget to add relevant hashtags

There are absolutely no guarantees in business, but you will never know until you try. I have no experience with Instagram, but the point is to show your art to people who are into that kind of stuff. If you see that others in the same niche are loved on a platform, there is no reason why you wouldn't be. You have to be where your audience is. I think with art, the most important part is to form a relationship with your audience and show up day by day in their feed, and sooner or later, they will convert. It will for sure take a lot of time, energy, and resilience. Read this.

You need as much content as you can do, cut a long video into more shorter ones, and post those more regularly, behind the scenes stuff, anything relevant.

How do you plan to monetize it?

You should timelapse a celebrity carving every week.

Wish these were made of chocolate!

Thanks!
Yeah i think it would be better to stop spamming until Instagram blocks me. Maybe buying shoutouts in that niche. Relationship means a lot of work if the audience is big.

Nice =) i will look how to make shoclate figures!

Do you prefer an english youtube channel ? Im from germany =/

1. Build a brand
2. Create brand awareness
3. Get followers (not traffic.. followers..)
4. sell products to your followers
5. Good luck

Nice topic. I read this article. Sounds realistic that a good core of real follower is more worth then millions of fakes or 0815 follower.

Yes, this guy is doing his work well. But his content changes a lot and its everytime some realy big or mindblowing / interesting + his personality. I dont want to show my face and the content is only sculpting.

Yeah, your strategy might be different. What's important there is to ensure that your viewers watch the video for some minimum amount of time. That could work if you explain what it is that you are trying to achieve, how you plan to achieve it and why; for the first few minutes. Obviously, it needs experiment. :)

Art work like these requires you to put in tremendous amount of effort & time. Buy an account with reasonable fanbase in same niche and rebrand. This improves the chances of reaching wider audience as soon as you get started.

If I were you, with such a skill... I would focus on providing incredibly interesting content showcasing your skill rather than focusing on trying to get to 2000£ a month. If there is value the people will come

Niche related instagram account with 50000 follower will boost it maybe but would be more then 1000€ i think.

How do you envisage monetizing?

Other than selling it, the art niche is difficult to monetize.

Very possible and at the same time very time consuming and slow.
Golden age of instagram for follow unfollow is over, but you can easily go viral

I want to gain manually follower on youtube and hope i can make 2000€ stable a month from views within one year. Maybe some deals with partners who sell clay or tools. Maybe provide an auction for each sculpture. A lot of these timelaps videos has big viewer audience. Or i will do an giveaway every week if the customer follows me on instagram and youtube and post a comment.

Just "try"

You got to try to know whether it will work since you have a talent just think about what can be different in what you make from what you have already seen in those videos

Yeah, tutorials would be great! And then eventually you could start promoting sculpting equipment.
