Why doesn't my subReddit rank well?

I have this subreddit for my brand name but it doesn't rank well. It's like 2+ years old too. If I search my brand name I don't see it on the first page. Sometimes even my reddit username outranks the subreddit.

You don’t create a subreddit and expect it to rank. It’s quite easy for a sub to rank for unique brand name but it still needs some content and links. Both backlinks or internal links work.

just because you mod a subreddit, it doesn't mean you'll rank for everything.
If your subreddit doesn't rank it means it's shit.

share awesome niche related content in your subreddit. More such posts a subreddit has, more will it grow and "rank". Also interaction with others is a big one on reddit. You don't see the end of those comment wars on reddit lol

I forget mine, I think by default it don't allow others post their stuffs but comment I think can on sub reddit where you creating it on default settings.

Your content is ##$@# you have to share a hot niche, find something else. Catchy title and relative content

Most likely it is not relevant for the search.

Add better content on it. Optimize it.
Interact on other subreddits, crosspost if relevant.
Send some links.

you can post on your own subreddit first and then crospost it to relevant subreddit. If your content provides good enough value without affiliate links, you should be good and this should generate good traffic to your own subreddit related to the topic / niche

What are you doing in order to get new people and in same time, what are you doing to bring new people in?
Are you spamming?

You need to be crystal clear and give us some info to work with, if you really need help...

What should I do? I answer questions and occasionally link to it or crosspost occasionally, but other wise...

Other forums no. I almost never post my stuff in other forums. One related popular forum which is very traditional has mods that have taken a disliking to me and banned me.

But I answer questions and occasionally link to my stuff in the answers. Sometimes I go back in later and add links in my comments to my subreddit, videos or site.

I usually just post either links to my blog posts or write short posts with links.

I recently went through my subreddit and did a lot of interlinking between threads. I removed many links to my site and added more internal links.

They are no follow but figured interlinking can't hurt.
