Because https, of course, gives more secure and this way your content is safer and I think many programs don't give false reports
when they are analyzing the website.. This way they give clean through pages and I believe this will elevate the position of that page in search results.
I think other have a better saying about this matter.
Thanks for a reply. From what you have said, I would conclude that https websites will rank higher and have higher DA/PA than http websites. It makes sense. But what if we have 2 websites with the same metrics, but one if them is http and another https. Which would provide more quality backlinks?
No, the DA/PA will be the same on HTTP and HTTPS. However, DA/PA is made up by Moz and doesn't actually reflect the internal Page Rank (which is no longer publicly available).Thanks for a reply.
