comments in word count

hi, all any ideas on whether comments are counted for word count or only article in body tags or paragraph tags. Want to implement POP findings.

I tested this few years back and they definitely counted.

However, today... they might but with less weight I wager.

Main content piece is primary. I would focus on it with POP.

For low competition (longtail) keyword targets, comment text does get counted

But don't just have your commenters post garbage

Have your VA post LSI-related content

I also ask my VAs to share the blog post url (along with a short blurb) to a relevant FB group - kill 2 birds with one stone
