My first $160 in CPA Bing Ads

Direct linking... surprised that it is actually working with all the adverse reactions to DL.. most say that it's not worth it. If your payout is high.. I don't see how it's not worth it especially if you can get clicks under 40 cents.
Not sure what you mean by organic but visual ads yes.. and they are highly relevant to the offer.
Thanks for the encouragement.. gonna keep testing and trying different campaigns but it's still early.. however, I'm content with the results so far. Hoping to see a day where I can do better than 2 conversions in one day.
The goal for most starting I think is to see that $100 day.
Now I'd like to see a $500 day and then a $1000 day and scale from there.
That's the idea, you can now scale with more products and budget,
but it's better always to be careful with each step, you don't want to lose any of your cash spent before building a good capital

What tutorial would you recommend or can you please share how you target keywords and stuff like much appreciated :)

For those that don't think that Bing is worth it.. hmmm... I'd seriously question that. I have a new campaign running. CPA payout is $80 and I made my first $160 today. For those that don't think it's achievable or that Bing isn't worth it.. you couldn't be more wrong.

Campaign not even running a full 48 hours. Budget was $50 yesterday and another $100 today, but considering the traffic and the scalability of this product, I'm hopeful that there is a lot more money to be made so with some tweaks to the campaign by digging into the data I think will lead to a better ROI but in my mind it's encouraging to have achieved that in less than 2 days. CTR is amazing.. over 10% the first day and just under 7% today.

This might not sound like a big deal to some but for those that have been working on making any money online for a while.. let this be a little encouragement that CPA works and my method is Bing ads PPC.

Note: I've only been doing PPC for just over 3.5 weeks.

@Toz has a great tutorial in the Jr. VIP area. I'd definitely recommend upgrading and reading that. Provides very good insights that will help you along your journey.

Yep, absolutely... that's the plan.. working on building capital in the meantime.

Thanks man. Bing is pretty underestimated for ppc but it's definitely not a platform to be ignored.

Goodluck with your campagin.

I don't have any luck with Bing. I have an offline business.
I run ads on both Adwords and Bing, I actually imported my campaigns from Adwords to Bing with identical keywords, ads everything.

From 40€ spent on Adwords I get 1 lead for my offline business.
From 95€ spent sofar on Bing (same campagin/lander etc) I get 0 leads.

Maybe it's the niche, but I don't know. Will be quitting Bing soon, waste of money in my case.

It'd be interesting to see what kind of volume you had in your niche, what your landing page looked like, what the competition looks like in your niche, what your bids and avg position were as well. If there's no volume, then of course that means no one is looking for what you're selling and if that's the case, you're absolutely right that it's going to be a waste of money.

What I have found is that data is everything when it comes to PPC and without it (regardless of the platform.. Bing or Adwords), you're basically just unnecessarily flapping your wings in the wind. Based on what you've said, that's not compelling enough to say it's not worth it.

So you just ran paid traffic directly to the affiliate offer?

Why didn't you create an LP first?

Yep, just wanted to see what results could be achieved. Let's also put this in perspective. There are people around here that never make a dime in affiliate marketing. Additionally, a landing page does not guarantee results. If that were the case, what would be the point for anyone to try direct linking.

Another unexpected result of my experimenting around with PPC was 50 amazon orders in 3 days+ of testing an amazon campaign as well.

I didn't see anything on the 10th and barely anything on the 11th because I paused the campaign as I wanted to see about lowering my cpc so I thought I'd give SKAGS a try. I have now created hundreds of SKAGS and finally got them all approved today. 50 clicks today / 2 orders and I would imagine the numbers of orders will improve as my ads gain more traction.. in fact one new SKAG campaign I have set up is getting a cpc of .13 and in the top 3 positions 14 clicks today.. again that number will go up as the ad is left alone to run over the next few days.. it's a manual campaign so the cpc should remain low. Earnings may not show a lot but again as we know with a 24 hour cookie, that can be hit and miss but as long as you can keep your cpc low, it's worth the investment. Some days will be winners and others won't, but you can't make money if you're not willing to lose some in the process. Again, this amazon result was not expected initially and now that I saw some results, I changed how I was building the campaigns and now we'll see where things go from here.

lol. hilarious
This post is really more about motivating the members that are struggling to make any money. Even when the experiments don't pan out to big winners, the reality that you can put your efforts out there and show that it can be done is worth something and if that results in people taking action, I'll take comments like these and keep grinding away to gain traction and do better with each attempt to be hopefully more successful than the last time out.

Bing ads worked for me with Clickbank offers. However for e-com it's not converting so well.

It's like anything else.. you've got to test different offers and much of that boils down to the research that you're doing. Tools like semrush and spyfu are helpful to drill down data points to isolate good targets for campaigns. What works for one campaign won't necessarily work for another.

Wow nice start! Lot of people focusing on Google, underestimating Bing, and the traffic it gets.

Thanks and you're soo right ! The Bing ad platform can send some serious traffic and with less restrictions than Adwords.. I'll take the Bing ad platform over Adwords and it's headaches any day. Just my 2 cents.

Update: 11/18.

My dad passed away last week so needless to say this has been the farthest thing from a priority for me.

However, when I have a minute and want to send my mind somewhere else I work on my ppc projects. So with that said, I'll add the following information to this thread:

After going with the SKAG method I chatted about before.. regarding how I am now building the campaigns, I'm seeing far more success with Amazon than I am with the CPA product I started with. I have paused that initial campaign and rebuilt it and so far the clicks are looking far better in terms of cpc. under .25 but the clicks are far less but the search terms are wayyyy more targeted. So I'm focused on the long game there to see if I can get the high payout while paying very little in terms of cpc. My ad spend was crazy before but it's looking a lot better now.

All part of the learning process. You've gotta be willing to lose money to make it.

I have another CPA product that I am targeting where the cpc is under .10 a click so we'll see how that pans out. Campaign just set up last night since I couldn't sleep.

As for the Amazon stuff, the image reflects my progress there. (Note: as of this post there have been an additional 2 more orders today).

Doing what I can to keep my mind busy and moving forward like my father would have encouraged me to do. All the best to you guys until the next update, however I'll respond as I have been to this thread.

Update 11/25

I made some changes on my CPA offer and after redoing the campaign... after running the campaign for about 5 days, my ROI was upside down. Yes, I lost money, but it is what it is. I redid the campaign from top to bottom. After the initial run on the campaign, redoing it led to an ad spend of $26.05 and revenue $80 which I feel better about. Let's see if I can keep this up to actually make the campaign profitable. I've got a lot of work to do before that happens though.

Nevertheless, I was able to get my clicks much cheaper.. some days at .20cpc and now it's hovering at .24 and my budget is set at $10 with a 4.5 ctr. I'm sure that I could see more sales but I've got several other campaigns going that are targeted towards Amazon and I'll provide another update there for you as well.

I'm also glad that I seem to have figured out my link tracking.. I think there's still a lot to learn there but link tracking is absolutely necessary if you don't want to needlessly spend money. It's not the most exciting thing to learn but it's necessary.

With that said, I'm at $400 in earnings for CPA and then there's the earnings update on Amazon as well that I'll share with you too.

The other update is for Amazon and here's the screenshot for that one. (4 additional orders today) at the time of this post.

So all in all we're still making some forward progress. I know I need to target high priced items to see higher level movement in terms of commissions.
