Waste of time, energy, resources.

Plus the depreciation cost of the hardware. I have no idea why normal people still try this. It used to work when mining was "easy".

Yep mining BTC become fairly pointless for most people in around 2013/14 unless you were happy to mine at a loss and HODL it until the next bull run.

Which makes no sense practically, when they can just buy the crypto instead of trying to mine it. Should work exactly the same, if not better and quicker.

Guys, if you have good hardware; use it for better purposes. Mining is just simply stupid for the most (for some it could work.. especially for those who have a free electricity source).

Yeah in most cases I'd agree.

Mining BTC is not feasible for most today, sure. Mining other cryptos is still profitable and a good option today for anyone with GPU rigs (limited cases) and ASIC rigs (more cases).
