Hello fellas, I hope you are doing well.
I am now making a content strategy for the magazine I am about to start. It's a niche magazine about subjects I have knowledge and passion and in long term can be very profitable, if done right. I really believe in this project.
In the beginning, my only goal is to get targeted traffic through SE, Social Media, and any source of potential traffic. Focus is on, of course, tier1 countries. I have several methods of monetization, including ads, my own products, etc. But, that is the step after I get some meaningful traffic.
My question is: Should I focus on keywords in the beginning? Or I can publish whatever I want, since I have a lot of content ideas, and I know that they are quite popular in the niche, through experience.
I am planning to attract traffic with "viral" news inside the niche which are often. Contacting micro-influencers with tops 20k followers, since they have followers interested in topics, etc.
