Can i RANK my Youtube videos if i put some backlinks from these sites ?

I know boosting my videos with views, like and comments which is smm basically would work (Yes it's still working in 2020 with a good source, i know a journey here) BUT how about having my videos some backlinks from those sites with high DAs? Do Google and Youtube have the same algorithm?
