Can't Login Into My Wordpress Website

Hey, I can't login to my wordpress website. When I press the login button, it keeps reloading the same page again and again. Also sometimes it shows captcha verification.

Anyone else facing the same issue? I think It's wordfence. I disabled it through my phone where my site was already logged in. Still didn't work.

if you installed a plugin of recent that might cause the problem. i will suggest you go to your cpanel and unistall the plugin

I have managed to login through cPanel. Didn't install any plugin recently. But, tried disabling wordfence. the problem still persists .

ok then you need to do temporarily deactivate all word Press plugins then do one by one active plugin it will be one of your plugin issue, if issue will not resolve then try to contact your hosting support

I second the advice on plugins and themes folder being re-named.

Since you are still getting permission error tho you should clear your cache and use CTRL + F5 (hard refresh) when attempting to login again as your browser can be showing old version of the website.

Another issue with permissions might be actually permissions on server folders or modified .htaccess file.

I had this problem. The hosting provider did have to clean my IP from their spam list.

But that first problem you had, it's definitely some looping problem. But it's possible you have to sort out that blocking IP thing first.
( buy heyh, don't just believe me, this is just my own conclusion. I can be quite wrong )

I just changed the password for my WordPress login and it works fine now.
