Bro I actually agree with you, and the problem is that people can be really careless about how they think and talk when they are dealing with something they think is a conspiracy of some kind.

It's really unhelpful when people say "the coronavirus was created to destroy the economy" because the obvious response is "how can you possibly know that", then the following point is "did someone trick you into thinking this for their own agenda (we all know you mean orange man, and the reason is to stir people up so he gets reelected)".

So I can 110% see your perspective, I don't disagree with you with regards to people that are convinced 100% that something like this is just a plot to crash the economy.. you need to be open to it just being organic as well.

But.. in the same regard, people thinking that conspiracies never happen fool themselves completely! This could 100% be orchestrated.. it just could. There's no way that you can disprove that right now, and there's certainly advantages for some people if they did that.

Another thing people don't realize is that even if your Dad makes it, he could be left with life-long complications from the damage it's caused his heart / lungs / etc.

You need to get out of your echo chamber. Even the highly praised Dr. Fauci had written that chloroquine (much lower LD50 than HCQ = more dangerous) acted as both a vaccine and a cure for SARS. There are hundreds of doctors that have had excellent success with treating COVID patients with a cocktail of HCQ, zinc and azithromycin, and other very inexpensive, non patented drugs, such as antiparasitics. As @M4DM4X mentioned countries that use HCQ early on have lower mortalities. I'm not saying there is no virus. If people research and look at established science it is clear there is some sort of agenda going on here. Doctors that are actually treating people on the front lines are being silenced by social media and MSM. Blue checkmark highly published and respected MD's have had their twitter accounts locked just for posting their medical experiences treating COVID. These are people that have successfully treated outpatient COVID suffers with near perfect success (no hospitalizations). In the US a 5 day round of HCQ, zinc and Azith can cost as little as $20. It is MUCH cheaper in many other countries. It's been months. The results in places that denied the virus are catastrophic.

Look to New Zealand and how they dealt with this virus. They saved lives.

Stop denying it. It's real.

New Zealand is a country that is sparesly populated and heavily relies on tourism. Their economy will suffer greatly for it. They eliminated it before and it came back when they opened the borders again. The only way to truly control it is to find an effective cure/treatment and also hope the rest of the world does otherwise the same issues will happen again when the borders open up.

They cannot be compared with the US or the UK.

I'm with you on the concerns about the virus itself, but vaccines take years to be tested and considered safe and there will still be question marks on their effectiveness. If you expect the general public to live like this until that happens then that's another conspiracy theory in my opinion.

Yeah, that's why I'm saying it's not realistic and it would need to be highly orchestrated. But hypothetically, if the government made sure everybody was fine financially, stocked up on food, and stayed in their house (aside from emergencies and necessary workers), then maybe it could be done. Depending on testing capabilities, maybe people can even test themselves from home. There MAY be re-infection. But last I heard, it's very rare, and still questionable in regards to whether it went away in the first place. In either scenario, it would still drastically slow the infection. Again I know it's not realistic.

SARS-CoV-2 was isolated many a times in different labs across the world and shown to be the cause of COVID-19. There are many publications to be retrieved easily on the web, PubMed for one instance.
