No fixed date yet, i think. I read 'early next year' in some article and it will be US only at first.

Since the news struck first, a few things came to light. PayPal will fully dictate what you can do with the crypto. Users won't have access to their private keys. They won't be able to transfer their crypto holdings out of their PayPal account, nor will they be able to send crypto to other PayPal users. And of course PayPal can freeze the account, if they see fit.

My point exactly, so this is more of a trap to confiscate bitcoin from people. With all that has been going on with PayPal I wouldn't transact cryptocurrency on PayPal, it defeats the whole purpose of crytocurrency.

but remember that many exhanges are blocked for US customers, so paypal can be an easy way to buy cryprocurrencies and in my opinion can bring adoption because who buy online has a Paypal account and can buy them
