Whos original design? Someone else's or designer you hire. Because I have heard that copyright claim can get your account suspended.

If you hire a designer on Fiverr... He provides you source file. When that particular design is getting... You should scale it to different niches. Every time going to a designer will cost you $$. Learning simple text edits would save a lot money.

I tried this before. No traffic, no sold.

I have a company and partners. One of the share holder is a solid designer. As we share profits...Upfront cost is reduced.

I have multiple Teespring accounts. I log in from lappy... I never had any issue. But I use different IP for Redbubble accounts. There was massive Ban wave on Indian accounts in one year. So we started using US IPs and accounts are stable.

The method is very old and noob friendly. I am posting now to prove that this method still works.


Let me post this method in Q&A format.

1. What is this method about?
A. Finding a POD website and upload designs on those websites. Once they make a sale... You earn a commission every sale.

2. What is the process involved uploading designs.
A. You should upload a design and select a product from list of products they can fulfill. Once the design is uploaded...They will create a mockup and list it on their website.

3. What are the best websites to start with?
A. Here are the list of websites you can upload:

A. It's like asking "Do I need to be a Model?" to make money on OnlyFans or Adult websites. If you are a designer, You can make money without incurring any expenses. Others have to hire a designer... Better to learn photoshop for making small edits on Original design.

5. Where to start?
A. Find a funny quotes, do some research on Teespring, Amazon and search youtube like this "https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+research+t-shirt+design+ideas+". Hire a designer and get your design. Start uploading and repeat.

6. How to scale this shit?
A. Let's say you are getting sales for this design: "Of course I am Awesome, I am a Teacher". Get the PSD from the designer and edit yourself to save money or ask him for a bulk price. scale it with different professions, names etc. Sky is the limit.

7. Best advice you can give us?
A. Don't really abuse the platform. Don't upload cheap quality designs. They will suspend your account and all your hard-work would go in vain.

8. How to get the traffic?
A. Frankly speaking, We have done nothing in the beginning. But we use to stuff good keywords/tags while uploading the design. Later stage, we have tried Pinterest, Wanelo to pin the URLS. That boosted our sales for sure. I am noob in SEO... Use your own SEO skills to get the traffic.

9. Do you have any proofs that method is still working?

10. Can we automate this?
A. There are tools but I never used. You can build imacros to automate uploading. But I don't suggest... Just get a VA if you are busy.

11. I am a creative and hardcore designer... Do I have any place to sell my designs & make more money?

You really don't need outside traffic to get you sales. Platform itself will have lot of traffic... You just have put right keywords/Tags in your listing... So that when a buyer search for a particular product... Those keywords should help you to display product in their search result.

It's worth trying
Until unless your listing have 1 star... Customer doesn't mind buying. Redbubble intelligently aggregates all the reviews of a particular product type and they add them under your listing.

I just list my designs. I never promoted on any platform as of now. But there is a way to promote your Amazon Merch listings... It will bring you lot of sales.

I just use google search, amazon listings and teespring campaigns. Never purchased any software as of now. I was also spying on FB Ads for Teespring campaigns long ago... But not now. Don't invest anything in the beginning... There are lot of free ways to research. Don't burn your $$

POD is a lot easier when you can design some original content or hire someone specially during main holidays, at least on my side and with not a big experience of every aspect, I still have to work on SEO but so far results from organic views are good.

I've told pals how to start and they've made their first sales within days, it's like a game. I'm currently trying my hand at Merch by Amazon after my Redbubble ban but it's definitely worth doing, start with Redbubble as they have the most organic traffic. I never paid for SEO at all, all organic.

My general figures after this were:

Redbubble Store 1: £800-1200/month - 5 Years old, 400 Designs, 7000 sales total. I wasn't making this much until recently when I started looking into how to optimise, etc.
Redbubble Store 2: £200/Month - 2 Months old, 200 designs, 200~ sales total
TeePublic Store 1: $100/month - Few months old
Teepublic Store 2: $100/Month - Few months old
Merch By Amazon: $20/Month - Few months old but I've only just started uploading

I was banned because one of my side accounts on Redbubble was banned, and when they ban one account, they ban them all that they find are linked to you. Honestly I am still not over losing that amount of money, but I'm sure I'll claw myself back up to that sort of range again soon enough.

Yeah I have lost lot of accounts. We created accounts for every niche...Lost all of them in a single day. We should deal with redbubble very cautiously.

Not at all. I mena I know my way around photoshop but that's all you need.

I'd worry about that. I found that having one general store was better than multiple niche stores.
