Am still fairly new to this... Used both and some more tools too.. I would definitely rate ahrefs more than semrush, not just for its details but the educative things ahrefs provide is far better than Semrush.
Ahrefs advices are better and the other tools give you a much more in-depth analysis compared to Semrush.

LOL. Both tools have unique advantages over each other. Semrush is a better alternative for keyword/organic/PPC research, while Ahrefs is better for backlink research. Semrush finds new keywords faster than Ahrefs, while Ahrefs discovers new backlinks faster. Overall, I prefer Semrush. I love their interface and speed. Ahrefs is a bit slow in fetching data.

Stop spreading misinformation. Semrush is king when it comes to organic traffic and keyword research, and they cover all regions.
