How many times had you chosen a nice keyword and then drop it because Forbes, Buzzfeed, or other big site were sitting in the top. Well if you have done it dont worry seeing them in serps scares me too, until BHW sellers informed me you can beat them.

1) look at their backlink For that keyword Many times we assume that they will have lots of RD and Backlinks but when you inspect they have less Rd and Backlink.

2) Follow the Leader See their anchor text ratio, naked url and implement it.

3) Use guest posts, niche edits, and secret juice PBNs but don’t kill you site by using too many pbns. Build links effectively and not in one go.

4) One of the advise I get from sellers here is that, if you’re going up against a giant at least write bigger articles than them, so remember write a better seo optimised article than them.

5) Interlink: This is the easiest yet I don’t know why many sites don’t do it, don’t underestimate its power

6) Do constant Seo Audit’s, it can help you a lot.

7) remember attacking them on the main keyword where they have some hundred RD is suicidal, build for long tails let google do it’s work

8) Remember Goliath was small, yet he defeated the giant because he used the basics and some common sense. Seo isn’t different most of the times people will do everything rather than focus on the basics.

9) Lastly make your homepage a fortress of backlinks and do spread it to inner pages too, but having a strong homepage can do wonders for you.

There are many good guides out here read all of them, read them again and then implement it. May the force be with you. PS I’m not a seo guru and I have learnt stuff from reading here, read here as no one can know everything but it’s always good to learn new things.

If you have a totally brand new website/domain, you'd be wasting your time targeting keywords be dominated by giants like Buzzfeed and the rest of them.

Maybe starting from somewhere small might be solution. Then gradually grow up, which will take months and sometimes years.

I would recommend you to move to the paid version of seo framework rectify the errors it shows (alternative is rank math but personally I have felt the former to be very effective). Install broken link plugin and fix it, inter link if you have not inter linked if it yet doesn’t work you need to consult someone or consider dropping the site. Also check if google can read your sitemap, and speed issues

Hopefully, an inspiration for new webmasters:)

I just felt i've read summary of a book.

You can't beat a famous site unless you have more than what the site has when it started. You are gonna have to go through the whole site and find out how it works from top to bottom. Once you master it you can emulate t but with modifications to make you the leading site. That is how business works these days.

You cannot beat a famous site because famous sites have got to the top and they are equipped with everything they need to keep them at the top. You are gonna have to be at the top of the game if you plan on beating a famous site. Some people use it just because it is famous and not because it has keywords.

You can apply this to the entire method, but let's just pretend we got a goldmine here, be positive and keep cheering around. (welcome newbies)

No kidding.
Did an audit the other day on one of my websites and found 60 broken internal links from a long time ago.
No idea how that happened. Probably when I changed the CMS.
