AAWP API not working...

Hey, I just got AAWP and tried to set it up on a site but the API gives me 'toomanyrequests' error.

1 - I've already made 3 sales
2 - I've waited
3 - I've tried renewing APIs

After trying all that it's still giving me error...bleh

I've googled and some say you need 3 sales on the API for it to work, but yeah, how the do i do that if don't have access to it in the first place.

Everyone that has AAWP and it's working, what did you do??

Yeah, I got the email in August that said 'Your Amazon Associates program application has been approved - xxxxx-20', so that's all good

Try your API key here - https://getaawp.com/amazon-api-key-checker/, if it works, then the issue is from the plugin.

Are you using a nulled version of AAWP? I also tried to use the plguin with my API key on one of my sites but it didn't work because i was using a nulled version.

I think something is wrong with your Amazon Affiliate API key (temporarily). Disable the plugin on your WordPress website or delete it and try again later.

I'm not also able to get the plugin (from Festinger) to work on my site but my API key works on their own website (AAWP) and the AWS API test console. Maybe they're able to detect if the plugin is nulled? What nulled version of AAWP do you have?

I got the plugin from festingers vault.

Ahhh ok. I disabled the plugin for now. That's weird how it's not working for you too. The version I got is 3.13. That's a bugger if they can detect it's nulled.. I tried to test the API again but no luck.

I did read somewhere that you have to wait 2 days for the API to work.

If it is a new API key that you have generated right now then you need to wait for two days until you can start using it

I'm using AAWP from the vault and its working fine for me. I've just checked it and it's loading up the Amazon link with my affiliate tag.

Did you get it from the forum? If yes, please give me the URL. The one I downloaded here doesn't seem to work even though my API keys are working 100%>

Just want to update the API is working fine now. I think it was I just had to wait 2 days. AAWP from @Festinger is working perfectly on 2 sites

New API rules, you have to wait 48 hours before your key will work, otherwise, it will return the errors your getting. I have @Festinger 's aawp and it worked after 48 hours. I had the same problem ^_^

You're very correct, but for some reason, the plugin wasn't working on my site after 48 hours when my API was working fine. I tested the key on AWS and AAWP website (the link i dropped earlier) and it worked fine so the issue was from the version of the plugin i downloaded here.

I'm patiently waiting to see if @Festinger could drop another version for us on the forum so i can test since I'm not a paying member of his vault.
