Anyone has experience ranking XYZ domains here? I bought a few a couple of months ago. One is ranking for a few very very long tail keywords in 1st/2nd page of Google but I have not seen 1st page ranking for decent length keywords (3 - 4 words) till now. Anyone has experience with these tlds?

I doubt TLDs have anything to do with ranking anymore, I've seen multiple .xyz domains on the first page for competitive keywords. In my opinion, you can be on the very first result and still compromise your conversion rate because of a "bad" TLD.

TLDs are not a fact to be ranking a domain or a keywords focus your content, backlink and website loading speed, fast loading and good content with high DA/PA backlink can improve your SEO ranking, don't think about domain TLD

I'm pretty confident, the only time TLD affects google ranking is if it's a regional TLD.

The TLD (.COM, .BIZ, .XYZ, .ORG, etc.) of a website doesn’t affect the site’s SEO in any way.
Thanks for all the replies. I have some experience with seo. Back in 2002, that is when i started my online work. Those were crazy days with Google pagerank and all! Did my share of craziness looking for rankings! Left seo for programming in 2010. Now back in 2020 and it seems a lot has changed. I tested some info domains along with xyz, with similar topics. Info domains ranked pretty quickly, not so with xyz domains. But the samples are too small to imply anything. Also in 2016 co.cc was banned by Google if i remember correctly.

No, I ranked well with few .xyz domains. TLD is not a problem for ranking unless you do it for regional

Maybe not the best examples, but I think the reason it's not often seen high in rankings is that fewer people use xyz overall.
