I met this today, it seems like a bunch of junk being sold for hundreds of dollars

is this really generating money? there are gifs being sold for 0.5 ETH, really there are people buying these things?

Basically, because they are unique on the blockchain no others can access them.

I personally think an nft marketplace that kinda catches those outside cryptos also will do wonders
