As for today I finished migrating my post from parsing processes into the new parsing engine. I used to use my own bash scripts, pure post/get c# scripts and now I am using a software called a-parser. Its really good for massive parsing tasks. Also today I prepared everything to make some extra cash sending emails using the method my colleague introduced me to, tomorrow I am going to start sending. Actually, by the end of this week I am reminding myself of a simple fact which sometimes I am forgetting, even if you are making a new funnel never stop sending emails. Each day - another couple of hundred of thousand sent emails is always good for you. Also I am starting to think ,maybe it was really a good idea to use a self-hosted ESP like mailwizz and whatever smtp. Because waiting until Monday just because sendx cant solve the double opt-in issue until the start of a new business week really suck. I already told my gambling affiliate network that I am going to start sending traffic to them by the end of this week, but I didn't want to start before the funnel is ready. Maybe tomorrow I will finally decide to send traffic on my gambling affiliate link even with out the sign up form

Today I was a busy man. In the beginning of the day, according to some new tradition I received another ban from an ESP that claimed that gambling is allowed on their platform. I DO NOT recommend you to have business with SENDX, their support is really slow and they banned me before even let me send a single email. After that, I decided to go self-hosted and brought alive my own mailwizz installation. If anybody needs help with that, you are welcome. I was thinking of what smtp solution I should pick for myself. The options are amazon SES (if they approve my account, I already told them I am going to work in a gambling niche), mailgun (same here, but I already have an account, though they can ban it anytime), PMTA (difficult to maintain, difficult to gain a good senders reputation, emails might end up nowhere, good for becoming even geekier), regular google account's SMTP (looks like a nice idea, but as I see mailwizz cant work with proxy, so I won't be able to attach as many accounts as I would need one day, so it only fits me as a starting solution). Afterward, I was fixing my broken Recaptcha solving pipeline and managed to fix it that lead me to an opportunity to start an email campaign using a black-hat method my colleague introduced me to (involves solving ReCaptcha). I also contacted my hosting provider with a question if they can provide me with their SMTP for my gambling related websites marketing. My main goals for tomorrow will be to finally manage something for the double opt-in (either use amazon ses or gmail accounts smtp), finish preparations for my first gambling email funnel and start sending traffic onto it.

P.S.
Maybe if it is so impossible to email people with gambling offers legally I can just use my black-hat email methods to generate the initial burst of traffic and send it somewhere like Instagram? So I can do the marketing part and reach my audience somewhere where it is easier to work with the gambling niche and use black-hat mailing only for the free traffic source???

But I wanted to have a white-hat gambling email list so much!

today was an interesting day, though nothing that much significant. I did change my mind a lot since the situation was turning from upside down.

First of all, as always, the day started with amazon ses declining my aplication for their smtp (since i told them i am going to do gambling). Than I asked some older brothers if it is a good idea to go self-hosted smtp solution like PMTA and the answers were very different, a guy who claims to have 17 years of EM experience told me:

Taking into consideration all the above I thought that probably creating a white-hat gambling email list is impossible since gambling niche itself is banned everywhere. So, I decided that I can still use my black-hat mailing solution to work for gambling and while doing that gather white-hat email list. The idea is that I can still ask my traffic to subscribe and provide them with promo-codes just right after the subscription with out a double opt-in. And the subscribers email will go somewhere like mailchimp and from there I will only use that mailchimp account for other white-hat verticals. So its kinda like a trade-off.

at that point I finally create this page

The idea here is that when a person inputs the email and hits the "spin" button the wheel starts rolling and then the user wins and receives a promo-code from me and my gambling affiliate link but the email that he provided goes to my mailchimp (not gambling related white-hat list). So I wonder if they will or will not ban my account this way.

Right after all this, I got my mailgun account verified. After all, funny isnt it? I have connected it to my mailwizz and looks like I am going to use it for some tests related to other verticals.

I think for now I want to test the conversion rate of the page above, test my gambling offers, and then I will make more concrete decisions. For the next 10 days, I am going to target on making traffic and sending it to my funnels. Since on the 25th, I am going to fly to emirates. I wonder what adventures are waiting for me

1. I make redirects for my URLs on a trusted domain and I encrypt the original URLs ending parameters. I sent 1 email using a unique redirect. So that I can collect the returned parameters in my TDS and collect active emails (clicks).
2. I use MailChimp for collection legit White hat subscriptions. So not only I collect the emails in my spreadsheet but also I have an intention to grow a client account on ESP

I sent about 140k emails today so the CTR is about 0.005% which is pretty low, but thats due to the fact that the email list was just scraped from the internet. Good news is that I am collecting all those clickers emails. So for today I collected 800 active emails into my own list.

I sent about 330k emails today so the CTR is a little bit lower than 0.005%
though I got only 1 person who went through my double opt-in.

Some changes were made to the landing page to increase its conversion rate.

These are just a few examples. I have thousands of similar ones. Instead of the random token I am inserting some text and instead of the http:// mail.com /18 an affiliate link.

So, in order to make some more opt-in's for my LP I am going to try to retarget those people who clicked the links from the emails which i sent them. I am going to send like a much less amount of emails (i.e. 1k instead of 300k) but I am going to use html code in those emails and send only to those "active" people who already clicked some other emails of mine.
