YT kills channels(its TRUE!!), example of a dead/shadowbanned channel for you people who think it does not happen.

I think it has something to do with "kids content" thing that came up.
Corona stuff fucked up a lot of Youtubers!
these videos don't get flagged as kids content ever.
normal gameplay videos.these owners bought new channels and are doing fine.

another example 1M subs dead channel. views and all metrics crashing.
before he used to pull in millions.
now he bought an extra new channel to continue becoz his current views are fucked. just Check his old vids and most popular pretty dead now compared to before

another example 1M subs dead channel. views and all metrics crashing.

His most popular videos of a game that was hugely popular 5 years ago. That game isn't as popular anymore so obviously he would get less views making videos about it. So he changed content and his old audience isn't interested in gta V or him reacting to things, so he gets less views. Not that hard to work out why his channel is dying.

He also didn't post for 5 months about a year ago which also kills a channel. Look at his views before and after the break. Notice anything?

this is another dead channel. Dont tell me he stopped uploading.

https://www.youtube.com/c/SimmyMobileGames
he kept deleting new vids coz it could barely hit 1k views. he keeps trying then deleting.
no use coz it barely gets 1k views compared to before. now he got new channel.

well i dont think it's becoz the content is dead. yt suddenly stops pushing you if they don't like you or something. happened to many animation channels
you can see from this video commentary
:
1. no quality content anymore
2. too many ads (7 ads in 10 minutes?)
3. discord is even deleted
4. look at the upload range, 9 months ago upload, jump to 4 months ago upload, to 3 weeks ago? and this guy only has 26 videos last year, meaning he only create 2 videos per month? I smell something fishy

think shadowban is because of something wrong from the channel owner side. look at this guy, playing video day by day from 9 years ago, never get shadowbanned

there is no break taken. it looks like a break coz he kept uploading videos consistently but they all failed to get views. then he kept deleting them.
so it looks like there is a break taken. becoz his successful videos were all months back.
but his new videos were all deleted because they died and didn't get views. so it looks Iike there is a gap.

but again i heard about this. content is no longer interesting or popular causes a death in views.

one more thing there are few channels whitelisted from this issue.
i have an animation channel in my group. where we pay people to create animated series for adults not kids.

they always average 500k to 2M views per video within a few days.

all our content is different and we are consistent on schedule. not making anything worse.
this is not based on a Trend that can die off.
it is new content made everytime.

this high amount of views used to continue for 5 months.

now out of the blue it dropped down to 10k to 50k views a video.
we kept trying for 2 months.
same death.
any idea on this??

there is also different time ranges in which people get shadowbanned.
he didn't start uploading 9 years ago. just 2 years ago.

the quality of the guys content has not changed the channel to which i linked.
it's the same. you are just assuming the quality is changed since the channel is shadowbanned. u wouldn't say the same thing if it wasn't shadowbanned.

this channel uses same ae templates and record same type of content for gaming.

i have a channel where i tested livestreaming same looped video everyday. high views per day shadowbanned after 5 months.

this is a case which i did intentionally to test if it is something to do with worse content, or just algo randomly stop suggesting you.

Same livestream, same thumbnail, title and description.
went from 100k views a day on avg to 1k.

Look at the image below ! Its crystal clear what his done wrong ! So he went from 2-5 minute videos to 5-6 sec videos!!! Obviously he has been hit by copyright or something so therefore he can not produce the same content as before! His posting 6 sec max 9 sec video to avoid copyright I think.

Lol Youtube hates videos under 10 minutes nevermind the 1 minute that he doesn't have any more. Thats the main reason why he has been getting low viewers.

You being told exactly why these channels are failing but refusing to accept multiple different points made by different people. The YouTube algorithm is complex but these people are obviously taking breaks and changing content.

If you were such a YouTube expert you could analyse this stuff yourself. Why would YouTube shadowban content making them money? They would stop recommending channels if they aren't uploading content for months and audience's won't watch it the channels drastically change content.

giving the channel URL like usual probably help, can't guessing why youtube shadowban it if I don't see the channel.
is this 'animated series' is something like 'Actually Happened' niche?

I don't see the 9 years ago, I count the last year upload, he only has 26 videos, that means 2 videos per month. that's too fishy dude
and I'm not the one who see the quality is changed, you can see the comment, they are the one who said it. they're people who usually watch the channels. go watch this video IN YOUTUBE and see the comment section :

also you can realize that there are some spamming comment (just type L, or P, or whatever), so I really think something fishy about this channel.

there are people who commented before you guys who faced the same issue check the comments. these are not the best examples i have.
i have better ones i just wish i saved the links. im searching for them.

and like i told you. I'm ready to accept. because I'm trying to understand but my animation channel does not fall under this problem. exact same niche stuff uploaded consistently without change in type.
channel dead.

exact same video re-uploaded on new channel = explosion back again due to content quality

hahah lmao youtube hates videos under 10 min? .

sure bro. you know pretty well about yt. where did u learn from. i would like you to teach

channel with 4 to 5 mins videos.

40M to 100M views etc lol

This is not a new information, it's well know that YouTube's algorithm shadowbans channels and usually that is because the creator did / is doing something dumb.

- Long Breaks
- Niche Change
- Garbage Uploads
- Spam Content
- Controversies

He drove the channel to the wall.
hmm anyway I'll consider what he said. although i did not experience this you guys might be right maybe it's related to these.

spam

so shadowban like what i said does not exist? wtf okay.

i need to double check some channels and post here. I'm still confused As I'm panicked when some of my channels crashed

as they say you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink ;) guess that applies to you. No need for the sarcastic comment .

You don't have to be an expert to know simple youtube stuff! Youtube don't like videos under 1 minute and they hate videos under 10 minute (interms of monetization). Videos under 10 minute get lower earnings (as less advertisements is allocated to it).

Just look at the image that i've sent. Also I think he has been hit by copyrights. Thats why his doing 6 secs (9 secs) videos. He knows his talentless ! Making money out of other people's hard work is not right is it!

you can always use copyright free music lol. this is his own recording of the car and camera.

copyright claims has no effect on your recommendations. i had music video re upload channels bringing in huge amount of views.

you first said yt hates under 10 mins video, now u add the "in terms of monetization part"

this topic had nothing to do with the money being made but the dead reduced recommendations. channel deaths

Lol who is talking about the music! The footage he uses is stolen! If the owner sees their footage they can file copyright on it. 90% the videos that i've seen on his channel are stolen (maybe not the latest car video ones)! For example this one:
Or this one:

Hold on a minute! is that your channel? You deffend that channel like you've connected to it or something. Regardless of that this dude is a talentless theif!

He was deffo hit with copyright 6 months ago! the dude stopped for 5-6 months and started posting under 10 sec videos.
DYQLsQg

Yeap ! He has been hit by copyright ! 100% His is trying to avoid channel removal and demonetization.

Funny that you mention his car and I can see that the latest car videos are longer . That might aswell be his own car. Guess his trying to produce his own content rather than stealing.

copyright does not effect recommendations

Man you keep missing out the points! Let me Break it out for you!

1.) He has been hit with copyrights.
2.) No videos for 5-6 months on his channel . (cuz his scared of channel removal/demon..)
3.) After 5 months he totally changes video format to under 10 sec vids.
4.) And yes the length does affect the recommendations . Short videos specially under 10 sec videos get less engagments !
This is because the videos are not interesting = less comments and less likes = less views

BTW : Similar to facebook, Youtube also likes longer videos. Definitely longer than 1 minute (youtube) and 3 minutes (facebook).

just try to produce better content bro
copyright does not effect recommendations

example of one dead channel. can you explain this?

the owner sold it coz they get less then 1k views per vid now

go to his social blade, see this part :
https://socialblade.com/youtube/channel/UC8D3BeV7T9LEXQF2xieS46gView tab
- November 2018. views increase 210M
- December 2018, views decrease -8.8M
- January 2019, views decrease -201M (if you add December and January in total, it's -209.8M views. So I guess it's boosted fake view, and the rest )
- February 2019, views increase 209M
- March 2019, views decrease -15.7M
- April 2020, views decrease -191.5M (if you add March and April in total, it's -207.2M views. So another boosted fake view)
- After that views are up and down, I think this is real view, because in 2 previous boosted view and then youtube remove it, there's about 1M real view

Subscriber tab
- From November 2017 to July 2019, this channel got subscriber removal every single month, in random number
- October 2019, subscriber increase 10k
- November 2019, subscriber increase 10k

There's no way a channel get exact 10k, and then youtube remove 10k, and then got another 10k, and so on.

Now, can you tell me is there any weird part in the statistic above? or do you still think that youtube shadowban channel without reason?

on my channel when i delete a video with 10M views or private a video and make it public that will show the same thing on social blade.
-10M,+10M etc.

that can prove nothing about fake views.

this channel was also previously a minecraft channel so maybe the new owner deleted or privated videos multiple times and make it public.

that will show same result on social blade. it cannot prove that YouTube removed views. this channel was going good at first with the new content then died off.

again what u said does not prove what happened with the examples i mentioned
