YT kills channels(its TRUE!!), example of a dead/shadowbanned channel for you people who think it does not happen.

this is one of the guys i know and he has sold his channel due to it being shadowbanned/views killed.
now its owned by someone else.

he used to get millions of views in the beginning, until later in the year, going from 4M to 1M views a video, to now 1k to 5k views per video, useless.

obviously what i mean by this is , the channel still gets suggested but yt killed it off at one point and reduced his views by huge margin, making it useless as an income source.
. but to me and my friends, this is a shadowban in our book.

what, did the 10M subs channel do now?
simple, they just got a new channel and started uploading on there coz their 10M subs channel only brings as many views as when they were a 100k channel before.
now their new channel gets the same amount of views with the same content as their 10M subs channel.
so it is nothing to do with the content.

also remember nowadays, subs mean nothing. even yt notifications will not notify all subsctibers. its algorithmic notifications based on user interests. in the past, even if yt would not suggest you, subs were the backup.
if u had like 10M subs u would be safe. but thats no more.
many people i know report that they dont get notifications even if the bell is turned on.
as per the current yt system, everyone who earns from yt, lives off suggested videos.traffic.
subs are completely useless at this point except in some cases.

very simple, yt kills channels. its either a gltich or its intentional.

ive had people i know become depressed due to this issue.

Are you sure it wasn't a change in the content?

Could you try going back to the old content outline and see if that works? I sorted the channels videos as old to new and the thumbnails look different. I took a quick glance and I am probably wrong.

Also, the YT Algo prefers faces on the thumbnails. Try getting your clickthrough impressions up.

This is not TRUE. Quality Content get more youtube suggestion. Youtube is very smart this days. This is good for HQ channels .
Copy-past videos (7sec etc ) is not money anymore. You need to work hard to get real SUBS and people who love your content.

Subscribers can watch the videos without Youtube letting them now, that there's new content. If a 10M subscribers channel gets only 30-40k views per video, it means that only every ~300th subscriber watches the videos or not even that, because non-subscribers are watching the videos too.

I'm not saying, that you're completely wrong, but these numbers are strange.

It's known since a long time, that Youtube doesn't send out notifications to all users. By now this is well-known by your every day Youtube user too. Probably it's not just me, but for this reason and because i have the notifications disabled anyway, i don't rely on notifications at all. I simply go to the Subscriptions tab and check what's new. And i suppose, until a channel is live and not disabled, the videos must show up there.

If those 10M subscribers are real, active accounts and you're saying, that it's not the content, what you're suggesting, only makes sense - apart from Youtube not sending out notifications - if Youtube is ghosting the videos from the Subscriptions tab. Or they deliberately undercount views.

ii guess that is true
i knew about 5 channel they get about 200k to 1M views per video they appload, but recently they only get like 1k to 10k views per video
not one channel or two or 3 a lot of channel with the same issue ...

I looked at the channel again and the quality of the videos has gone down, the thumbnails are different. You are not getting views because YouTube cannot categorize your channel. Pick a niche and stick to it.

the change of content happened after the channel was sold. it was sold because it died.

false, this does not matter. there are plenty of non face channels pulling in millions of views.

yes subscribers is real , i know this guy. he blew up to 1M in the initial months of his channel

not true, the issue is on some of my channels that died i experienced same problem. subscribers did not get notifications even with bell turned on + they could not even find my channel in the subscriptions feed.

in the initial stages of my channel, my subs could find it there + get notifcations.
when the channel got killed , both these stuff never happened anymore.

Yes, if Youtube removes the channel from the subscriptions feed, that might explain the view drop to an extent. I have yet to see this happen though, but if you say so.
Notifications don't matter too much at this point, because even if a channel is in good standing, notification delivery is rather hectic, which is not a new issue at all. I don't think that too many users/viewers would rely on notifications these days.

yes u heard that right i work with a group, we have dealt with atleast 250 channels testing and trying different stuff.

currently we manage 60 active channels. we got people working for us and i work on a few myself. that does not mean i have to leave bhw. bhw is good knowledge resource. when i have time, i browse these forums.
its also good for business and internet marketing. more money can be made here.

I think this situation is intentional.
Consumers time is limited and if youtube recommends only old channels, new content creators would go to other platforms because of the entry barrier. Remember, nowadays there is TikTok that offers consumers' attention to content creators without the need of subscribers. YouTube has to offer something equally valuable to new content creators if it wants to stay on a market.

I didn't skip anything. I understand, what you're saying. You said 'not true' to something, which is indeed true. I did the math using your numbers and there's no error in the calculation. Probably you didn't want to quote, what you quoted, but some other sentence.

Anyway, this is not important. The important thing is that you claim:
(1) Youtube is removing channels from the Subscription feed.
(2) Notifications aren't (always) sent out. (My notes: (a) this is a site-wide issue affecting channels left and right, which exists for quite some time now. (b) How many of the subscribers have notifications (the bell) turned on generally? Somewhere around 20%. So it's already a not too big number to begin with. Even if there's an issue with this system, it can't cause the drastic drop in views you were talking in your OP.)

i have a crush and crunch channel of my own. i have got organic suggestions on it without using fake views.
the comments and engagement on it are pretty less just like this guy and i get large number of views but less engagement without botting.

similarly i have an Indian content based channel like music/movies. it gets very low engagement but really high views.

but even if botted or not i know my friends channel who were in gaming niche. not botting. Full organic growth until 300k subs, getting 300k views to 500k views a day.
now their channel completely died off, just 200 to max 10k views a day.
the switched channels now views are backup again.
coz their audience came to their new channels from discord.
the new channel is getting high suggestions. more than their old now after a month of uploading.

i dont know what exactly is going on but I'm just trying to make people understand that it has nothing to do with the content.
becoz these creators switched to new channels with the same content and getting views again.

idk when it will happen.
it's just youtube killing those channels off at some point.
i have no reason to make this claim, especially since i have experienced this on 30 of our own channels.

and we could do only one thing. we dropped all 30 channels and got new ones.
these 30 channels were barely Bringing in anymore views per day. just around 1k a day so it was trash income.
we just dropped them.
they used to pull in millions of views before

I even think YT is purposely not showing views, for all we know your video could really have 10m views showing the advertisement that it's 10m yet showing you 1m views thus only needing to pay you for the 1m views. YT is getting more and more corrupt but there just isn't any other platform like it.
