Google Trends - Time zone question

Does anyone have a definite answer for this, I can't seem to find anything concrete on it.

If I'm based in France but searching for a term in the US, am I seeing my country time or the US time in the search results?? I'm assuming it's the latter, but I'd like to be sure..

Hi Kamil, I can't answer your question for definite but I am in the UK and a year back I was tracking a phrase on Google trends down to a daily level and it looked to me that it was aligned with UK time with dips at lunchtime and in the evening when people were not at their desks (it was a search term specific to businesses).

Hi Simon. I found this on the search page itself:

"Numbers represent search interest relative to the highest point on the chart for the given region and time. A value of 100 is the peak popularity for the term. A value of 50 means that the term is half as popular. A score of 0 means there was not enough data for this term. "

So am I right in thinking it is for the searched country?
