I was a subscriber when they started to introduce 5USD monthly charges on their tool. I have continued to pay and use their system until recently I realize they put a limit on my account. My keyword research is just few daily. No one response even after I email them. Whoever wants to subscribe to them, think twice.

It's always been the same. Firstly, some guy started trending himself on whatever circle he chose. Secondly, this guy introduced a service and oh of course for free! After that, they start talking about a small fee for the service maintenance. And then... you know the story later.

Got no idea why anyone uses a keyword research tool anymore, stuck in the past if you ask me. I get using the tool for competition analysts and that but for keyword research really?

lol name one tool that gives 100% traffic data because I've not found one. Ahrefs gives two keywords of mine 0 traffic but both generate over 2000 clicks per month. They only get the data based on the number of people who sign up to the service and or provide that evidence to them. Just the same as the information they on keyword "difficulty" if I stuck to the information they provided id not be where I am today!

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out what your optimising for does it?

Your better off picking out a "keyword" as to what your going to write for and then using something like answer the public to figure out what people are looking for or better yet google it's self no keyword tool is going to give you them answers.

As I said the days of someone just typing in a "keyword" into google are long gone.

They have been asking me to try this and that like I'm non techie guy. Since they have charged me, I'll just see how they'll respond to my issue on next coming days.

I know there's nothing as 100% accuracy. I use these tool as a reference for my research and cross comparing with results from other tools too. Ubersuggest is the only tool I could afford at the moment.

Nothing in SEO is 100% - it's barely 50%. The entire industry of optimizing for search is a shot in the dark - and all we have are educated guesses at what works, since Google and other search engines largely keep their ranking methods a secret (even to their own employees) and they're changing constantly, so there's no surefire way to game the engine.

No tool can deliver 100% data - because it's ultimately all based on Google's keyword data and trends, which they have admittedly obscured, because they want people to spend money on ads, not on free SEO.

All these tools like Moz are doing is capitalizing on making it easy for people to do initial research - but they also created a grading score because people have no way of telling if what they're doing is working, so at least now they can get a grade and feel like it's making progress, even if they're getting 0 results from it. It's a smart move by Moz - especially once "pagerank died" - although PR never really died, they just stopped pushing live updates to the number.

Neil Patel is also known for his very long articles that are considered "remarkable". However, if you read some of them, you'll see that only 10 sentences out of 1,000 are worth spending your time reading it.

There you go then. So if no tool or anything in SEO is barely 50% why do you want to put so much time in using a "tool" to do all your research?

The grading scores started with Moz as far as I'm concerned and vary widely depending on who or what tool or service you use to start off your research - IF using the grading score is the fundamental starting point in your research then your doomed to fail as the data simply isn't there yet (I doubt it will ever be there) to make any kind of decision on if that keyword or strategy is going to work.

Like I said it's not the 90s or early 00s anymore. No one types in a single item looking for results no one asks google or Alex for just a keyword it's all phrase driven. Yeah slapping in a KW might help to generate some ideas but that should no longer the be sole driving force when doing your research.

If your selling or writing about printers and you need to enter "printer" as a KW tool to come up with ideas to go about searching then something is wrong someplace.

This is the problem with SEO at the moment and on here is people become too driven by the numbers these tools produce use outdated techniques to target some keywords and then wonder why every update the site drops or moves violently.
