Hey,

I'd like to do a test if it possible to unbann a domain in google. I have one nice domain, 8 years old. in 2006 i spammed it to hell and sine 9april (according to g Webmaster tools) googlebot haven't visited my site.

For one year this domain had had no hostin, cos my account was suspended.

What I did so far.

* Uploaded WP and created fake corporate blog with "unique" content
* Build XML siteman and submited to Google Webmaster Tools account
* Put adsense on this page
* Links from digg, propeller, etc

Any more ideas ?

I will. Any tips what should i write about ?

You would need to pretend that you are the "owner" of the company that has the fake blog set up. Let Google know that you are the new owner of the domain name and were told by your webmaster that it had been banned. Let them know that you would like to request a reinclusion.

Better make sure that you have legit content, not spammy looking, and it might not hurt to dump the adsense on it for now until it is in the serps.

You may want to write about how you weren't completely aware of the guidelines and rules, but now understand them completely. This has worked for clients of mine in the past. If that isn't feasible for you, you could say that the site was either hacked or was at the receiving end of a spammer you are not affiliated with and do not know and tell them that you've taken extra security measures.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info. Will post on my progress.

for whatever reason you got banned... if you know.. also try to show you are taking steps to rectify the situation. We had the same issue a while back and it takes generally 1-2 weeks.

Some of my white hat domains had gotten de-indexed. I've put in a request and it's been about 40 days. Nothing has happened so far.

In the meanwhile, I've put up another site on another domain on a similar subject and have got that to the front page instead ..

We also replace WH banned sites with new ones. I'm just curious how much effort must one do in order to get unbanned. Domain I did choose was spammed to hell (link exchange networks) ... i wonder will it be back.

I'm not sure how they qualify sites, but one of my clients who run a lucrative e-commerce website had their site banned for some hidden link and text on the front page and it only took Google a week to unban them.
