Should I close my adsense account website shutdown

I bought adsense account from few yrs ago. it worked just fine. Until I lost traffic to my auto-pilot wordpress website. later I got email from adsense that since adsense wasn't generating money or traffic (i actually forgot what that email exactly said). I had about $99.50..which is below the withdrawal threshold amount. so I closed the account to get that money in my bank which I did. I am working, if I should reactivate my account again? most likely they will ask me to resubmit my website again for approval. which I don't have it

I wonder if I should just buy another adsense account. Wouldn't adsense see that I already had an account before (closed one) once I buy the new account, I usually update it with my home address & bank account

I doubt they wil ask for website while activating website.

But you do need to get site approved before using adsense.

That’s where the issue is. I could never get a website approved. That’s why I bought Adsense account.

I don’t want to try to get approval as it maybe denied. Then buy new Adsense which then I would need to enter my details again, afraid that it might show that I have duplicate account?

Now you need to apply for monetization for every website you add into your adsense account.

Yes that is new rule. If you have your old domain and still can be monetized also doesnt get deindexed try to build blog on it with the sub domain. Since that doesnt need approval.

Then you can try to submit new domain if want to.

I don't think they will ask to submit another account at the time of activation
