My indexation is f#!ked

Sup

So I operate a site. Over a year old. I always submit new posts in GSC. They always get indexed directly. On my last like 7 posts, they do not get indexed.

On two of them, Google say that they are indexed but they only show up when searching for site:x.com + exact article title.

On five of them, Google says "URL is unknown to Google" when though I requested them crawled. So it's not indexed but not shown, it is not even indexed.

I found find it very weird if the site had a penalty. Never done anything weird or risky and the traffic to the old articles keep coming in as usual.

What do I do?

Edit: I have done live tests. No errors.

make proper cache/schema/delivery/on-page.

Thank you. Yesterday I added the pages to my header menu. Now the homepage ranks on page 3, the article itself is indexed but does not rank at all.

Google is sick of you. Why you need to submit every article to google console? they will check your site again when google has a sec, and within a week usually.

To get it indexed faster to see my ranking. Would very much suprise me if Google saw it as a negative signal to submit URLs.

It's not a negative signal to do this (within reason, of course). That's what the URL Submission Tool is there for. Use it. It's the fastest way to let G know that you've changed a web page.

reported the Purple mod for not using Purple colour in text and not getting a purple colour cow for us.

OP many are having indexation issues, heres what i suggest

1) if these issues are constant deactivate and then reactivate seo plugin

2) check your sitemap

3) do inter linking

4) use Reddit do follow links

5) lastly use link indexors

happened to all of my sites, all the index are 4 max..
nothing wrong, all with different type and niche.. but somehow googl f*cked up since january 2020 for me.

I am experiencing this too.
Submitting GWT doesn't seem to work properly either.
Right now, it usually doesn't work at all, but I've also recently had GWT show URLS as indexed (without actually indexing them) and then take a week to actually index them.

Changed hosting, posted the link to the latest article in two different forum posts and it showed up in the SERP. Weird if I have to do this for every article but oh well.

That's where I stand as well... I leave it to bing and google to index the articles on their own.
I only use gsc to re-submit articles if i make drastic changes or change url. But 90%+ of the time I let search engines find the articles on their own.
If it takes google too long to find new content, i must have something wrong with the site structure.

Why would Google make a tool to submit links if submitting a few per week would result in a negative signal? I really don't think so. Maybe you're right though, I just don't see a reason for them doing so.

I've never said it was a negative signal.
I just expressed my opinion and what I personally do.

Try to interlink with the old article which is popular or build a few quality links, this will help.

"Google is sick of you". You agreed. That to me sounds like a negative signal. I probably understood it wrong.
