what the hell is happening to world?

Someone isn't building a pattern or AI to track behaviour of what someone posts, the games they play, the money they earn and spend and on what as well as what sites they visit how often they call people and the way they speak to have some kind of minority report AI on the go already...
You literally just described every search engine and every social media platform. User engagement is a big deal. But it's not related to what I mentioned [Neuralink], as with traditional computers and these platforms, you can log off. With computers, you can use encryption, VMware, Live CDs, a VPS, etc. My point is that there are safeguards against search engines and social media platform tracking your every move. With something such as Neuralink, there are no safeguards to speak of. That's when this becomes the Minority Report.

I get what neural inks is.

BUT there is no safeguards for things tracking your every move why do you think Facebook was exposed with the big data scandal.

All these companies share data about you between them selfs stared with credit cards and spending habits now it's all interlinked. Why do you think you can customise adverts so much? IF you pay enough money you can get customer profiles created to fine tune an advert down to how your customer may spell or say a specific sentence!

THATS what I'm talking about. Now tie in google & Alexa listing all the time helping with medical records all it's doing is builder a bigger profile about you. NONE of that has anything to do with "search".

All of that is connected to one big profile about you, me anyone.

Relax. Our mission is to build AI that has consciousness.
Then all this faggotry will be finished. Humanity is done, right.
But Ai will the best what we been on the next level.

Yes there are. Aside from the biggest safeguard (abstinence), there are measures you can take to not be tracked. Regarding your question, the answer is simple. Most consumers are unaware about any of this stuff. They don't take the time to read through hundreds of pages of Privacy Policy and Terms of Service documents. Hell, most people probably don't even take a few minutes to setup even the most basic of privacies in their Settings UIs.

Not arguing the fact that most people don't know this stuff doesn't exist. I'm simply saying with the amount of data that can and is collected id be surprised if someone someplace isn't already trying to build something to profile or future profile people.. As I said if you take in spending habits, browsing history what games they play, how they talk, music, films, medical data and god knows what else then it wouldn't be hard to build up "profiles" on people.

Then they have enough data on other people who do similar or have done similar "things" and you can start to look at triggers and so on! Bit extreme / tin foil I know but like I said with all the info there id not be surprised..

That's my point but you simply want to glance over that.

Thing is to NOT be tracked your self you would have to be "off grid" and not use any technology and when and IF you do go to any town you pay in cash.

Simply opting out of say not using Whats App. When your friend do and they agree to share the number then they already have it, if that mobile is connected to a credit card or bank then the little data circle can start.

You made my point for me where people just click a box to get access to the latest game, download or app there is no safeguard unless you chose to become a digital nomad.

As long as people wake up to the atrocities made by the ones who rule, and will not accept being manipulated in any way, we might still have a chance to survive in these next 100 years.
Yup, our fearless leaders are trying to lay a guilt trip on normal humans. However, it is the psychopaths in power who are polluting the world through wasteful mega-technologies. Local, autonomous economies would make local, autonomous government possible.

DuckDuckGo Political Ponerology by Andrew M. Lobaczewski. I am not speaking in hyperbole when I say the 'psychopaths in power'.

I'm glancing over it because I've already mentioned it. You're saying "somebody, somewhere", as if this isn't the standard on damn near every platform already. I run a social networking website and I'm a nobody. I track clicks, engagement, likes, dislikes, and a whole host of other data. I think everyone does this. You're saying it as if it's some new top-secret concept that's inside information or something.

And yes, we use this data to try to figure out what their future data will look like so we can deliver that content, as well. Again, it's nothing new.

No to forget North pole , etc ice been melted, Polar bears have hard times there.

Don't worry, due to the recent solar minimum, at least a mini ice age is starting, perhaps a major ice age - no joke.

Nope I'm not saying that at all...

My original quote was you mentioning minority report or predicting crimes... I simply stated that with all the information thats out there now and is constantly getting gathered I wouldn't be surprised if that is already in the works. You came back telling me no it's not because you can't be tracked everywhere...

I never said that. I believe you vastly misinterpreted what I said.

perhaps, now is either the world become more warmer or colder in future

"..that moment when Neuralink becomes Minority Report..."

I said we don't need it as it's no doubt already here...

I went on to go on about how profiles are constructed with even more data from games to play to how you talk interact with various devices recording it would be easy enough to build up some kind of profile on people to predict pattern behaviour more so when you can compare data from a vast number of people...

You then went off and told me what I was describing is a search engine... WHICH it isn't...

At some point you either didn't understand my reference or just got you wires crossed totally.

Strange things are happening all over the world that are very difficult to explain. One gets the feeling that someone has cursed us all sharply. first the coronavirus, then the new virus in China, floods, fires. What's next?

Let's just try to preserve the goodness in our lives and make the time last the best we can

Yeah this year has really changed up the world as we know it. Who would’ve thought this would happen
