How do you succeed on Fiverr?

No, But in my niche it is technical. At first I accepted low prices and exceeded my expectations. When I get a good rating I tweak the gig to better match the value

There is nothing to do.
Internet is full of people now and everyone needs money.
There are millions of people who have jumped into this.
I am using Internet since I was like 7-8 years old. Those times only few people knew about Internet and making money online. So there was a huge chance of getting easy sales for the seller due to super less competition. Those are the guys who are still crushing it.
There was nothing I could do that time but to see all the guys are making huge money bcz in my country there was no PayPal or anything whatsoever lol. BHW was full of working methods due to less competition.
Before I tried games uploading in warez forums lol, i made few bucks in that way. Now everything is full of people. It's like ants fighting for a small piece of cake

A year ago I made my first Gigs. Spend like $100 on buying fake reviews on top of my very well-made Gigs of course, and I did more than $1k in sales that the first month. I was even selected as something that I don't remember of the top of my head. Not recommend by Fiverr, but something for recommended newcomers.
Fiverr is rather simple. Make good high-quality Gigs, buy a few fake reviews for the Gig, and you're gonna get tons of traffic. Especially if your Gig is unique

There may be more competition, but there are also way more users. Making money on the internet is not hard, not at all. Making good money can be hard, but making a living on the internet is insanely easy.

I am busy with other jobs, I get less and respond more slowly. Also there are new gigs in the same niche and it looks like they bought a review. After a week there were more than 200 ratings with 5 star reviews

Where do you buy Fiverr reviews?
In my opinion, Fiverr is mostly good if you provide gigs that can be partially automated and take little to no work to complete. Otherwise, the prices are too low and the 20 % cut they keep is pretty hefty. As for the drop of your numbers, a few years back when I was still on Fiverr as a seller, they used to mix up the rankings regularly (probably to prevent always the same people hogging the top spots). It was really annoying because my numbers would drop out of nowhere just to recover two weeks later.
I never bought reviews or so, but gave away heavily discounted gigs until I got enough reviews. It might be even harder nowadays.

It is indeed. And the prices are already very low on Fiverr compared to e.g. UpWork. Add their bad customer service and there's barely any reason to use this platform for selling (at least if your gigs are work-intensive like copywriting, translating, etc.).

No, it's not free. But that's how business works. You need to do some basic investments. Ditch the 'free' attitude first if you want to succeed online.

First check if all your gigs are alive and searchable. Theres a tool posted on fiverr forum. Use that tool to check. As a new seller you can have seven gigs live and searchable all at the same time. I see no reason why you wouldn't while your competition would.
Lastly fiverr is extremely comitative. Diversify your stream of income. Create accounts and gigs in seoclerks, legiit, fivesquid, zerk, konkar, guru and dont forget BHW. Aim for JrVip and sales thread in BHW.

I'm already investing my time. Investing $100 in a gig with no guarantee that it will get bought is just burning money. What if you end up with 0 sales? You are now $100 poorer and someone else is $100 richer.
