Plz Dont ask for Thanks or REP!!!

I have already seen 3 threads today asking for REP/Thanks in order for them to deliver their ebook/service to a couple of people who actually did put REP/Thanks!

BHW is for sharing and helping people. It is not a place for people hungry for REP/Thanks. I just wanted to shed some light on what is happening before we start to see BHW bombarded by such threads!!

Wiz, I just read your thread now.. Wish all people could follow by these guidelines. ( I love the scenarios you mentioned btw )

Macpaulos, having good thanks and REP reflects on the person himself. It reflects on how that specific person has been helping the community and people appreciated that by thanking him!

I truly respect people with good REP/Thanks but I do not respect ppl who are trying to impersonate it!

If what you have to say or offer is useful then you will get naturally repped/thanked no need to ask for it. whenever i see someone asking for rep/thanks after a post i never thank them it just looks like they have an alterior motive for what they post.

Well it doesn't harm anyone to remind in a thread "If you want to thank me, then just click thanks" .. some times people just pm and ask how can I thank you.. bla bla bla.. annoying..
On the other hand if some one has made a thread just for the purpose of gaining thanks or reps then just leave a negative rep..

Wiz is right, asking for a thanks is stupid. but, i believe that if someone really likes whatever you have, then im sure they will thank you anyway, i wouldn't mind it.
