Overtime everything needs monitoring.
I used to publish hell lot of apps on stores and my fingers would ache doing that.

I hit the peak earnings and stopped doing it. Now the apps are getting less installs and less opens because they are not updated. Just an example.

The easiest one would be invest in mutual funds and monitor performance every 3 months

I think that's a really good idea. I might seriously consider doing something like that. But my first concern is getting attached to my forest and not wanting to see it cut down when I'm an old man.

Yea, I’ve already got the land(35 hectares). Just gotta get it cleared and planted.

There is a bit of work each season maintaining the land and trees. But it’s not that much work, can be outsourced.

Hopefully if all goes well in 2 years I’ll plant.

Depends what you mean by cleared and the site but sometime's it's best to leave the land as it is and plant and then the environment take care of it's self one the most labour intensive things you can do when planting is stripping an area back and then introducing another species might end up causing you some issues. With all the issues around tree imports and pests as well it might be worth mixing the forrest up a bit just so if you do get a pest or virus it can help limit the spread rather than just jumping tree to tree.

If it's a natural grassland area you can keep that in check and leave it there and plant around it. The trees will be cheap enough it will be time planting and then adding supports and tree protection from deer or any other pest that might want a nibble!
