Yeah but the area they scanned is so small I don't think you can rule it out. Not to mention IF There was alien technology how would our stuff work against it? I don't know enough to comment on the tech they used or how or what it scanned but I've seen enough tv, movies and youtube videos to say the tech might not be there to find anything.

I feel look, even currently back in the earth, we can't even reach the bottom of the deep sea ocean out there, not to mention finding alien??
currently with latest tech etc we still can't reach the bottom of the sea.
Space is a wide area up there, Some folks claim about " speed of light etc science terms , theory " maybe they scan is just " the past delay " the alien already gone

Agreed. Yeah not to mention the deeper we go the more we find (in regards to the sea) was only a few months ago they found a new kind of fish and some other bacteria that can live in conditions we didn't think was possible.

in fact already found, yes those fish, etc does look weird . their apperance etc, and they can managed to swim deep in the sea unlike others fishes
I think come animals also same, some fishes can swim deep to the bottom , some cannot . i remember they research the sea level got different levels, so far human with the latest tech only reach at certain level

Its kinda different. Water on the Moon was exciting because it means that human colony can survive independently. This molecules they find however shouldn't be there according to our best chemistry understanding. So its either a life (microbiological most likely) or unknown chemical reactions. Microbes are the much most likely cause of this, but far from 100%. So yeah. Too bad USSR probes did not take samples of the clouds back in the 70s..

I thought as well last year or maybe year before (could have been sooner) they found a bacteria living in depths they didn't think that was possible and was on some kind of magma vent or something? That entire discovery called for scientists to rethink how they "scan" for life in space.. or at least that's what I thought I read on the subject.
It's the same as the Amazon I think? some parts of that jungle are unexplored and what parts people have gone in I thought they found a new type of bug or something...

Yes, it seems to be true and that first alien life will be detected and confirmed in next 12 months. Venus.
2020 is amazing for a real, epic year. Of course scientists expected microbial life to be widespread in the universe yet they believed that it can be detected in our home solar system outside Earth.
Many people believed that we will find it somewhere on moons of Jupiter. But surprise, VENUS! Boom! Amazing.
You know what is the most thrilling fact about all this story? Life on Venus was spotted decades ago while USSR expeditions. It detected possible signs of microbial life.
But this data was dismissed that time and supposed to be a failure.
Do you guys understand the impact of finding life in 2020 on Venus? It will lead to an understanding that this is a widespread phenomenon. Microbial life is just everywhere in the Universe. However, it won't answer the question of Fermi Paradox, why we still did not find any signs of ET technological civilizations.

well, I only can say and feel we as human can't possible to go , explore this world , call earth we currently live in for sure during our timeline , have to pass on and on for the next gen to explore fully in depth , etc
even come travelling , let say you start travel at 18 go every single countries, city, to towns etc can't even finish even if possible u still can walk despite 90 years old.
I feel our lifetime will not discover any alien itself , " in before USA , yea that Arena 21 they are there , USA always don't official claim yes we are not a lone " perhaps they don't want the world go heywire , in the mess when
