Any.

Update. So I stopped commenting a few days ago, ahrefs had picked up 36 so there are probably a few more. My name is at 18th place and my other IT keyword is around 28th.

I've concluded if they are still effective or not. I'll now be using them on my main project.

Will update if anything changes :-)

7th place now for name search :-)

Think Google just took ages to find them all compared to ahrefs. I don't think it will go up anymore now unless a few get approved from dormant blogs.

Case study complete I'd say.

I'm going to do another one now, I'm going to set up a very similar website and build just manually created backlinks to it. I see them shared a lot here and I want to see what they actually do in terms of ranking. I'll probably throw a small safe tier 2 at them as well. Expired web 2.0 or something like that.

Is your name Generic like John Smith, or something more unique? It might influence how competitive the keyword is.

Anyway, getting to #7 with a low competition keyword only with comment links is awesome. Good job!
