What the fu#k's wrong with me?

Every year I have a period of 2-3 months when I party a lot, get wasted every second day, travel & have fun, in most cases it's in the summer and trust me it just fills my batteries so I can work after that and be in "hustle 24/7" mode.

oh your so called "great future".
same sun rise, sun set. same Day and night. Earth revolving around just like right now.

You really got sold into the idea "work hard today and live a great future", that great future is full of same bullshit that you go through today.

Every goddamn emotion happens within you.
Yeah its fine you do all this for better comfort. Nothing wrong. But this idea of giving up today for some future days has not worked for me personally. You do what you want. You do what truly means to you.

Existentially all these stuffs are just made up, when i realised all this i dont really feel the same.

I've just got back home from dinner with my brother and 2 childhood friends. We ate some good fu*king food. Few pork chops, few steaks, few ram steaks, and so on. We talked about our childhood and our memories, but during the whole dinner, my mind was absent. I was only thinking about my website or how to flip some sh#t to make money. My body was there, but my mind was in the hustle mode. They were talking about cars, fights, and some other things that are usually interesting topics for us young people. However, that didn't really interest me. Everybody around me is partying every weekend, getting wasted, and spending all of their hard-earned money. Everybody around me is living life to the fullest. In most cases, I'm not bothered with that because I don't prefer that lifestyle, but sometimes it can get really hard for me to see all my friends having fun and getting wasted all the time. Again, I know that my work will pay off in the future, but as I said, sometimes is really hard and depressing to be in the so-called "hustle 24/7" mode all the time.

On the other hand, I love "the game". I love the process. I love building links, optimizing articles, finding new ways to make, invest, and reinvest the money. I love this shit. I love it when I'm broke because I'm more motivated. I love when someone underestimates me.

Okay, I guess it's time to stop complaining. Let's get back to hustling. Have a great weekend guys!
hmmm , actually I the opposite now yea kinda like you. Back in few years back , in fact is during working full time. Literally when you work for other , got. a job come weekend is kinda nature you want to relax, chill due to weekdays daily report to office work till evening than knock off go home etc . Tropical 9 to 5 working lifestyle which majority is doing. Thus come weekend people tend wanna talk about other stuffs rather than work.
This is Nature to be honest.

I also like that last time, come weekend chill with friends who also holding a full time job 9 to 5 . Eat, shopping , see movie a cinema .

Later , I quit my job, partly sick of the working culture inside , In fact I work in gov agency , yes so call civiil servant . The job is nothing serious to be honest, daily just check email , reply , tell contractor go fix the problems when things go wrong from end user. Wages not bad but sadly the culture inside suck. In fact I work inside quite long before i decided enough, is time to explore other things.

in fact is during my full time job, i discover what is IM . from Pay per click u know just click got few cent to affliater marketing , slowly i explore , more than come crytocurrency , Forex ,

I feel you are not the only one, Me too. if now friends tell me go out my mind surely think how to get more traffic for my site, etc stuffs partly because NOW you depend yourself for daily needs , aka Money
The stress , motivation etc you name it

man.. for me such opportunities rarely get
I will definitely give my time for it first :D

If you really think it's a problem then practice meditation. A consistent 20 minutes a day will make a big difference to your ability to be mindful of the moment and control your thoughts better.

That said, that's only if you genuinely think it's a problem. I'd much rather talk to people in my circles about the future rather than old friends about the past. My mind would probably be wandering to work as well. As some others have said just watch out for burnout. Make sure you're finding whatever it is that does let you unplug and keep on top of it.

Success isn't money, it's how much free time you have.

Way too simplistic. Sure, time is a finite resource but you can sit at home on unemployment and have all the time you want. If you want a certain quality of life or you want the opportunity for even more freedom then success is money.

Yes, a financially successful person will have the same 24 hour cycle as anyone else but what they're able to do with that time is very different.

Keep hustlin'. That's the spirit.

On a second note, it looks like you need to change your circle to like-minded people since you have the spirit.

Thats exactly what i do, but this time because of corona my batteries are on low...

That's a plus. I also do this because I love doing this. I could have a different job easily. The finish line (money) is the stuff I use to build more, but it's not just about money for sure.
Exactly! I work 2 jobs for other people (companies) and I get nice money from them, but, I'm happier when I earn money from my own projects. Even if it's less money. However, I also like working for those companies as I work from home and I don't have to work 9-5. Sometimes I work in the morning, and sometimes I work in the evening. I love that flexibility
"They were talking about cars, fights, and some other things that are usually interesting topics for us young people. "

But can they afford these things? Do they have 9-5 jobs etc?

You keep doing what you enjoy and find rewarding.
They can't afford it because they spend their money in clubs or on clothes. I'll keep working on my dreams. I will not give up. I just wanted to write this thread to "vent-off", since I can't share this with my friends.

I understand, I usually go on a vacation with my friends but Corona fu#ked our plans. We wanted to rent a camp-house and drive to Amsterdam. I can't travel during the summer as I have a job in my family restaurant + apartments, but I do get drunk more often during the summer
How does it matter you should do what you like and should have exited the meeting and focused on making money
Usually, it doesn't matter, but I got a strange feeling last night so I just needed to vent-off

I don't believe that I'm gonna become a millionaire in the future just because of the work I do now. I'm doing this for myself because I usually enjoy doing this. I love the hustle. I love the grind. I love solving problems. In fact, I really LOVE LOSING because whenever I lose I learn something new. As I said, I love THE GAME.

You mean that you rarely get to see your friends or? I don't really understand what you've meant :D

I have a couple of successful friends but they have families and are always working so I rarely get to see them or talk to them. I used to have a 'mentor' in high-school - my PE teacher. He launched a company when I was in high-school and I helped him market it. Ever since then we became really close. He's always helpful, teaching me the art of negotiating and other useful stuff. However, he has kids so I don't get to talk to him very often, BUT when I do, I write his tips in my notebook and then study them after

you need some spiritual awakening to get my point. You will probably get later on.

what I mean is, they are always busy, so moments like that are hard to find
Oh I see, well if you're ever up for a talk I'd be happy to chat with you :D

You can be right, but you can also be wrong. Time will tell because nobody knows anything for sure.

I'm 34, financially successful, but deeply regret putting business first constantly in my twenties and not enjoying the more simple things in life.

If you place all your happiness and focus on a website/business, life will pass you by and burnout will happen. Be mindful. Good luck.

I guess I didn't explain it well. I go for a coffee with my friends in the mornings, but not every morning. I get drunk on the weekends, but not every weekend. I go to the cinema with my friends, but not every week. Yes, I'm more isolated and I don't hang out with my friends every day, but I still hang out with them. To be honest, when I come home from hanging out with people, I'm dead tired. Small talks are exhausting me. Draining my energy, so that's why I don't hang out with people or my friends very often. I prefer to read a book, drive my boat, smoke some weed, and then watch series/movies. I do normal things, but sometimes it gets so depressing when I'm the only person in my circle with an entrepreneur mindset. However, there's one friend that I always like to hang out with, he has big dreams, to become a music producer, he's building his studio and I couldn't be happier for him

Same here! I am in same situation like OP. I just can't party and have fun whole year. I am most of the time the introvert. Working from home, so it's a little bit depressing. More than a little bit. Seriously.

I am young, sometimes I envy the distance of people who work together in huge companies, then see each other, drink beer, etc. but hey, it's all they do. Work, chill out, then work. Routine.
When you have your business, doing affiliate marketing or something, you doesn't have any work timeframe. You just work on what you earn.
They will look for another, "better paid" job, when you will be much closer to first million (or second, or third...).

Theoretically, you are in hustle mode.
In practice - you are at ease, you don't have to do anything if you don't want.

And that's why I love June. When it comes to June, the sun is shining, the weather is much better in my country, I love to go out, clear my mind, drink and party whole weekend (sometimes it extends on monday lol)

I feel like I am the same person type as you. Good luck brotha!

I wouldn't write it better myself.

Enjoy the process, let's connect and smoke one joint.

Cheers from Sibenik.

It isn't something bad. It surely means you care too much about your work.

Sounds like you have the commitment and correct mental attitude for success. Too many people carp on about either the past or unobtainable futures, rather pouring their energy in to making shit happen. There's a huge difference between having dreams, and making dreams come true.
