[YouTube Viral Video Empire] Journey to 30k/Month with Adsense

I spend anywhere from $60-$100 depending on which trio of my team that I use (script writers, voiceover artists, video editors).

Ive found 80% of them from upwork and 20% of them from IRL or elsewhere.

As for copyright infringements, if there's a flag, i simply take down the video and replace the copyrighted part and then re-upload!
What kind of videos do you publish in a new channel to get some initial traction?

Organic- it takes a long time though.
Botted- i've worked with botted channels before; they definitely expedite the process faster; but with these recent YouTube update with them killing fake watch hours; it's becoming a problem for others to stay monetized.

I would go for organic if you're patient enough and dont mind making money the first few couple of months.

Me personally because im impatient i would go with safe botted monetized channels.

Sure bud!

So i use multiple emails but you're only allowed 1 adsense account.

Yes! You've got that right. So if the video is 8 minutes long, i would have 8+ ads.

I rarely ever get comments regarding how many ads there are. Sometimes they're just the middle-third ad so it doesnt really bother the viewers,

The reason it isn't a problem is because youtube won't really play a video ad more often than every 3 minutes unless it's a very high cpm niche then maybe every 2 minutes. But what's nice idea that even if a video ad doesn't trigger, one of the banner overlay ads will and sometime it will cycle the display ads on the side, those ads aren't super intrusive and the kind of people who watch mind numbing watchmojo style videos are the same people who click on facebook posts on those clickbait stories where you have to click through 30 ad covered pages with ads, so to them, YouTube ads are a lot less than they are used to.

After getting monetized account, do you unlist older videos? I have read you may lose 4k hours if you unlisted them.

Can't emphasize enough how blessed I am to be working hard on something that I love doing: YouTube. if you have any questions, please feel free to ask below; I'm actually going to switch from doing monthly updates to more daily/ weekly updates to help people out. Q4 is right around the corner! If you want help getting started with YouTube PM me for my personal YouTube channel link where Im helping people grow on YouTube!

Can I get the link to your personal channel please?
Your thread is really motivating! Even tho I don't have money to invest lol

I post re-created videos that are subjectively better than their inspiration videos.

1Upload/Day is fantastic.
I love your plan. Best wishes!

Thanks so much!!
Sent you PM a few days ago.
Can you please check?

Sorry, I will try my best to get to this!

After getting a monetized channel; I only delete the older videos once I have 4k hours organically from videos that I've posted.

Glad to have inspired you bud! I will send you a message :)

Hey Weng, thanks for your help previous.

I have another question - Would you say it should be safe to make multiple channels under 1 Google/YouTube account using the method of SMM panels (purchased watch time and subs)?

I am keen to start a new channel but do not want to flag any suspicion to my overall account and 1st channel.

Hi Weng,

since I'd like to start an viral channel too I ask myself what would be better an general or an niche channel.

I can't decide yet because I have so much different ideas and I don't know in which niche I should go for that reason I tought a general channel would be the best?

Niche channels are more focused of course and my subscriber are more likley to watch my videos and start an initial boost but if I go for example for a watch mojo style they could also enjoy Movie A content but ignore Movie B content. Or if I go for sports niche and I make a basketball video and after some while an soccer video maybe they don't like it.

General niche is great because I can do everything that comes in my mind (tech, sports and so on) this channel would be so active. If I go for video ideas I have in mind I need to create around 4 different channels and I don't know if I could handle them all in the beginning.

I would spread your channels over multiple emails; however, they all have to be connected to one adsense account.

Don't worry too much about niche selection. Start "general" then eventually niche down. For example, start a sports channel, post basketball, tennis, football videos, if tennis takes off, then post more tennis videos.

With this model of YouTube, subscribers don't matter. What matters are views and getting into the youtube algorithm.

I wouldn't do a tech combined with sports or movies for example, that's spreading too much.

Hope this helps!

Hey Weng
I'm thinking of starting a channel in my language. I got a TikTok account, currently 450k and growing. Do u think it would be a good boost for YouTube channel? Niche is facts/viral stuff

Heya! I would try and stick with English bud since that's where CPMs are the highest.

As for your tiktok account, you can definitely use that to kickstart a brand new channel! You've got a great asset there.

pm me the link to the personal channel you were talking about.

PM sent bud!

MINOR UPDATE : MID SEPTEMBER 2020

This update is to prove to everyone that I'm not always killin it on YouTube. YouTube has its ups and downs and currently I'm trending back downwards waiting to fly back up. Nevertheless, my team is currently working on 30+ videos on any given time to prepare for Q4 where I'll be posting daily on all of my channels.

Greetings wengthemeng,

First of all, I would like to say thank you for your effort

I was about to sleep as it was 3am but I was hooked with your thread because during the past few days, I have been finding ways to make money through TY and I know this was one of them. There were a few guys who do it who are famous like Matt, Chase etc but even they are good, I feel you are even different from the rest because you never say "yeah look at me, I am killing it", u also specify your bad days too which alot of gurus dun say and also specify the actual 'net' income etc. Because not only you are committed to achieving your goal, but you still take some time and help others here in the thread which is extremely hard and I would like to say thank you once again *take a bow*. I actually spent like 3 1/2 hours looking at this thread and ended up sleeping at 6:30am, lol

After reading the whole lot, there's are quite a bit of questions I would like to ask and hope you can assist

1) I was seriously thinking to start from scratch for 4000 hrs, 1000 sub etc (before I read your thread or knew your existence) and given you said you highly recommend to buy TY monetised sites to get it started, which I would love to but I am concerned about if i will get the actual YT account. I know you mentioned like when you should change the name, google sense, password etc but I am afraid if I make the payment, the bloke won't send it to me. Because as you know, Paypal does not cover digital product and not like ebay where you buy something and you can track it plus this is not legal anyways. You have any good recommendation where I can buy or you can possibly PM me please?

2) Another hurdle and concern I have in mind which you have also answered is if I do delegate the task to others like video editing, thumbnail, sound narrative etc, does that means I have to give my pw to them right if they were to manage my account? If so, what I am concerned is if they ever kinda 'stole' it by changing the pw and the adsense account details one day, then I am doomed? You know, like your experience where the partner didn't give you your share (which I feel sorry but however, I would see it as a positive way because it makes you more stronger and confident that you know you can do it in your own terms, right?)

3) As for your 80/20 split. So I assume the majority will be the one who actually recieves the WHOLE payment i.e if Aug revenue is 10,000, then obviously you would get the cheque from Google/Youtube, and then you would have to pay 2000 to your partner, correct?

4) l know you stated in the video, do a giveaway somewhere in the beginning but do you really do that? Because I have seen them sometimes but my first thought was skeptical as you normally get the ads from FB, websites like "win ipad, fill in survey" and its like "not again" or annoying. Or you just say these just to lure them to watch the full video?

5) If unfortunately, if we do get 1 or 2 strikes from YT, how do we deal with it? I mean have you had it before? And if so, any advise especially during the last chance? And do they have a period where they will reset it back to 0 if you haven't broken the rules for say within 1 year or?

5) I know the majority of your income you stated in from YT adsense. However, do you recommend to put affilate links on your description as well? For example, for top the warren buffet, jack ma business videos, put maybe stock courses from clickbank and if the video gaming, then obviously gaming niches links etc. or even your own course wouldn't that be even better since it is also counted as autopilot and that you are not spamming in the video like "Hey, if ur interested from Warren Buffet, buy the course in the description" plus I see alot of Youtubers do that too to leverage it, unless there is a good reason u dun do that.

Well my journey officially starts also today as I will take action and I am prepared for alot of failures and not give up UNTIL it succeeds. I know how it feels because its not just like that in business but generally in life too, never give up. I remember a quote very clearly something like what a 'champion' means. I am sorry to hear your father's loss and I am sure he is watching you and blessing you all the way. Although I am Asian and do not speak Philippines, there is only 1 song that I used to listen when I was little often as it was super popular back in the 80s called Anak sung by Freddie Aguilar. I think its about raising parents raising a child and some happy/sad memories, I forgot but its a nice song, you may or may not have heard it before

Thank you once again

Sorry 1 more I forgot to mention about hiring the project manager question as well that kept popping in my head previously but forgot what it was

6) I mean is the project manager the one who actually orchestras every single role like if I hired 10 x video editor, 4 x voice over, 3 x thumbnail etc, he manages all? And again, does he need ALL my YT channels login details \ and like said in previously, the concern would be the risk of losing all the account since he have access in managing them all? or he knows what i am doing and then later say "sorry mate, i have decided to quit, you find another PM for your role, bye!"? Sorry if I sound paranoid because I have never thought or imagine what its like giving your account for others to manage or to look at, other than maybe authorising my partner to browse through generally.

Thanks and sorry once again

Hi @wengthemeng

Quick questions, DO you think channel location matter if i live outside US but targeting US traffic?

and if i set my channel country to "US" but lives in south africa, will that get me into trouble?

and last, what do you think of running a channel in Good US proxy, and target US traffic as mention above will that help my ranking? consider that i have done channel and video SEO right.

Country location of that channel does not matter or affect the videos in any way. Language of the video does.
