Instagram Journey - 4 Accounts to 500k with Manual F/UF + Viral Content

I had success with a previous account. I built it to 2.5k with manual F/UF and all of a sudden, thanks to viral, topical contents, it picked up on its own and now I'm at 12k and growing steadily at +150 followers a day.

Now I've decided to run 3 other different accounts and build them to about 5k with simple manual F/UF. So far, the difference in follow back rate for the different niches have been staggering.


Local Reality TV Niche (2 accounts) - 25% FB
Hot Babes Niche - ~ 30% FB
Inspirational Quotes Niche - ~ 10% FB

Might have to scrape the Inspirational niche and move. Either way, I'm in it for the long run and patience is key when going manual and safe.

Not planning on monetizing until getting to 100K. Got big plans for all accounts. Will update more with stats (FB rate, unfollow rate, follow rate, and action blocks frequency etc)

Also, if you have data on follow back percentages for your niches or others, please share.

1. Plan to turn two of the accounts into real model accounts with real people and monetize with sponsored posts, and real product sales.

2. It's going to be tough but if I keep at it the ratio should be consistent, even manually.

3. Have two devices. Two accounts per device. All accounts are aged at least six months.

Okay, Makes Sense. I genuinely don't know what you mean by Real Models? Do you have friends or something who are Models? or Are you going to make those gallery kind of accounts where they post multiple hot babes?

Yes, two of them are already kinda like gallery accounts. Later though I'll hire real models and make original content with them.

Yeah, I do. But you could choose to automate the posting and some other actions with generally approved (and harmless) automation tools.

Journey Update 1 -

About 14 days have passed since we started this journey. It's been wild!
So here's the strategy I chose - break the F/UF into cycles. First cycle will be: follow ~ 200 per day for 30days and unfollow for the next 30. And then repeat for the second cycle, until I start to see enough organic growth from hot content alone to stop F/UF completely.
I'll give updates here at the end of each cycle/ mid-cycle.

So for the first mid cycle (~15 days), here's the update:


Acct 1 - Grew from 12k - 13.5k followers - 0 following
Acct 2 - Grew from 0 - 1.3k followers - 3.1k following
Acct 3 - On HOLD
Acct 4 - Grew from 0 - 1.3k followers - 3k following
Acct 5 - Grew from 0 - 600 followers - 1k following
Acct 6 - Grew from 0 - 250 followers - 500 following



Important Notes:

As you can see, I was able to get two babes account to 1.3k+ followers within 12 days, with about 45% follow back rate overall. In case you're wondering why it's so low, well I follow about 200 accounts a day and started at about 25% follow back rate (as mentioned in the first post), but as time went on I found some common strategies that got me up to 50 - 60% FB rate, and even occasionally about 70 - 78%.

This strategy gives me followers that aren't from my target country, though, so I don't use it so frequently as I should.

As for Account 4, the quotes account, I put it on hold for now until I have the time to put in a deeper research so I can at least hit 25% FB. The FB rate right now at 10% is just too depressing, especially considering the results I'm getting with the babes accounts.

Also started two more babes account feeding on the original two (a great strategy with high %) so these two accounts are moving greatly.

Everything is still manual. 2 devices, 3 accounts on each, no bots, no jarvee, no DM spam.

Next I'll provide update on some important stats such as FB percentage for each account and engagement rate. And of course the future plans for these accounts.

Journey Update 2 -

About a month (30 days) has passed since we started this journey. It's been wild!
The first following cycle is done. Midway through unfollowing. Had to stop cos of a few action blocks here and there. Trying to keep it safe and it doesn't matter since, guess what, THE ORGANIC FOLLOWS ARE STARTING TO COME IN.
Right around the 2300 followers mark I started seeing about 40 organic follows each day from hashtags, and then all of a sudden as I got to about 2900, some post started going viral.
In fact on one of the account one post went so crazy viral that I got about 2K organic followers in 3 days.
Here's the state of all five accounts at the moment.


Acct 1 - Grew from 13k - 18.3k followers - 0 following
Acct 2 - Grew from 1.3k - 3.4k followers - 2k following
Acct 3 - Grew from 0 - 1.6k followers - 3k following
Acct 4 - Grew from 0 - 3.7k followers - 3.5k following
Acct 5 - Grew from 600 - 5.2k followers - 5k following
Acct 6 - Grew from 250 - 3.3k followers - 3.7k following



Important Notes

As you can see, the babes niche is wild! I was able to get an account from 600 to 5.2k followers in a couple weeks, with 2k followers coming in 2 days.
I'm gonna stop F/UF now for real and focus on heavy viral contents. Once these things blow up there's no stopping them.


As you can also see, I finally find a befitting niche for my outstanding account (football niche) and was able to build the following to 1.6k with about 52% FB rate so far.

Journey Update 3 -

About a month and a half (49 days) has passed since we started this journey. It's been wild!
The first following cycle is done, like I said earlier. And as it turns out, I won't have to do any follow - unfollow anymore. This is such a good development for me cos I hate follow unfollow anyway. Its just a necessary evil.
So I won't be doing that anymore since the followers are starting to troop in now thanks to VIRAL CONTENT.
Viral content posted as reels is still the best IMO (and I gave a short guide about it somewhere on the forum before so no need to get into that).
So anyway, no more f/uf only organic. Here's where I am with all 6 accounts at the moment.


Acct 1 - Grew from 18.3k - 21.4kfollowers - 0 following
Acct 2 - Grew from 3.4k - 12.6k followers - 1.2k folowing
Acct 3 - Grew from 1.6k - 2.3k followers - 3.8k following
Acct 4 - Grew from 3.7k - 14.7k followers - 1.3k following
Acct 5 - Grew from 5.2k - 11.4k followers - 2.6k following
Acct 6 - Grew from 3.3k - 7.8k followers - 2.4k following



Important Notes

As you can see, the babes niche is still wild! I was able to get accounts from nothing to more than 10k followers in just over a month. Now that may not seem like much but seeing where we started from, it's something I'm really proud of - especially since I have an awesome monetization method in mind.
But that's still down the stretch. For now I don't plan to make anything off the account.

One post on one of the babes account got taken down for "violating our community guidelines." Which is crazy cos it was literally just a girl twerking fully-clothed. No violence no nudity.
Anyway, this may be beginning of bad news. I'm being super careful now. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Yeah that's definitely possible. I'm sourcing viral posts on explore so I may be susceptible to DMCA takedowns. But I won't be doing that for long. Just want to get to 30k then I'll start posting original content and monetizing.
