Need help - adblocker started blocking affiliate links

Probably it's because of a new feature of Chrome called "Heavy Ad Intervention":

These articles are from May, but Google started to roll out this feature only a week ago.
If it's the reason, you can find pointers in those articles about how Google determines these blockable ads and what to do to avoid it in certain cases, so that might give you an idea what to change, if there's something you can do at all.
Alternatively contact Partnerize, they might already have something in the works to circumvent this. Probably they weren't notified beforehand similarly to others: https://digiday.com/media/google-chromes-new-heavy-ads-blocker-catches-some-publishers-by-surprise/

I think it's better to just use the image with a shortened link so that it appears to Adblock as if it's a regular linked image. Works for me.
You can also try removing meta data from the promotional banner/image.

Hey, have you found out the solution to it? I just realized that I have the same issue.
It's been 4 months since you posted it and apparently Partnerize haven't found the solution.
I will test prettylink plugin and shortened links. But I was wondering if you already found the solution.

The only way around it, as told to me by the manager of the affiliate site I promote, is to use Partnerize's link shortener. Everything is OK now, it just took time to change all the links

I actually just got an answer from them with the shortener thing and one more option - to add a "subdomain" to the link to make it look like that - http://[yoursubdomain].prf.hn/click/camref:[xxxxx]
From what I understood it can be any word. Gonna try that.

Yes, I can confirm, that the subdomain thing works. I added a random word instead of "subdomain" in the example above and the links stopped getting blocked by the ad blocker.
I found this approach faster since I didn't have to visit each link and use the partnerize dashboard to generate short links for each one. Instead I just went through each link on my site and added a random word as a subdomain. That's all.
I also checked and the tracking works too.
