Hi guys, recently one of my sites got a big drop in SERP. I have a 1 year old plus domain and it was at position #7 - #10 in a few of the competitive keywords for a few weeks or a few months. Then all of a sudden, last week, it dropped to #300. Out of my 40 over sites, I have never seen such drastic drop in rankings before. Does anyone know what's going on?

My main link strategies are linkwheels, senuke, and recently, I've added blog commenting strategies into the whole linking strategies recently.Could this be the problem?

1. Submit your blog again to GG and other search engine.
2. Always use your keyword (anchor text + link) when you write an article,

example you can use your keyword on the bottom of your article or post, such as use signature on your own blog.

3. DOn't comment to much on the same site or same Ips!. It's will make GG feel what you do just SPAmming!.

4. Submit 3 - 10 of your content link to social bookmark or free ads sites.

Do that tips,,,

Regard,

Yasirli

This is probably a google dance.

Continue to do what you are doing, and it will come back up ranking again.

I hope it is google dance. Otherwise all my efforts and outsourcing are all wasted... I'm added some edu and gov links now to help to boost backlinks from authority site and hopefully it will be better. But it's definitely shocking to see the site ranking at top #10 to over #500-#700 position. Usually I would see jumping to around #70-#100 but not so much as #500-#700

If you are in the SERPs at all (on G) you are not banned.

Remember to do the:

site:yourname.com to see if any pages are returned. If they are (no matter how low in the rankings) you are NOT banned. Maybe slapped, but not banned.

If you are sandboxed, it means you won't ever see your site in the results (the site: works, but nothing is shown as a result of a keyword search).

Hope this helps clarify...

If you still see your site's on GG search, it's mean not banned, I think you to over when looking for backlink, so GG think that what you do is spam.

In this case, my site should be slapped very badly since it is still in the Big G. What I heard is that if I continue doing the backlinks, it will come back up?

What's your site's status now? My site's rankings drop to a few hundred just like yours, my site is 3 and a half month old. This is the second time my website rankings' drop, I don't know what the F is happening to it...

Mine went from position #2 ,three months ago down to 300, up up 130 down to 95 up to 120
down to 76 down to 36 down to 17 up to 35...........

its dance or sandbox [can happen just for 1 phrase]
noty ban so relax

its definitely not a ban. keep on building links and build links for other keywords, not just the main keyword you are ranking for...

I agree, it's just a dance. Continue to build your backlinks up and your will be back up there. Google was just trying to figure out where to place you and now it has.

what do you do if you do get sandboxed? my site was # 12 a few days ago and now it's not even being indexed when I search site:yoursite.com.

any help?

Thats not a ban. I have been banned before...my site was completely gone

My site was delisted for 1 whole day but it only came back stronger the next day. I built one big linkwheel to it while it was delisted.

The same thing just happend to me. I opened up my site 3 months ago.

At first, did the google dance and got to the second page for my main KW. I used link juicer for getting quick web 2.0 links.

Second, used a directory submission service for my main 3 KW's using 3 variations of anchor links.

A week later, my ranking dropped by 300 spots.

A month later still no results, so I purchased 800 TLA's and waited.

Today,G shows 89 backlinks, but still not in serps for main kws. Not even in top 500! If i vary the imcoming anchor text links, will this eventually make me appear in the serps for my main KWs?
